Azza Fahmy x Bokja, Piccadilly

Just in time for London Fashion Week, renowned Egyptian jewellery designer Azza Fahmy will host an immersive experience celebrating culture, history, and craftsmanship to mark the launch of her first clothing collection. Created in collaboration with Beirut-based design studio, Bokja, and offered at Fahmy’s new Burlington Arcade store, the collection was inspired by the grandeur of Ancient Egypt, blending royal tomb motifs with modern design across a bold fusion of jewellery and textiles. From 20-24 February, guests visiting the Mayfair address will be able to explore the collection first-hand, experience new in-store concepts and have their portrait captured by award-winning photographer, Jonathan Daniel Pryce, to take home.

Mary Quant Exhibition at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Belgravia

In honour of London Fashion Week, Jumeirah Carlton Tower is celebrating fashion, culture, and the iconic style of the 1960s with a display dedicated to the groovy style of innovative designer Mary Quant in the hotel’s lobby from 3-28 February. Harking back to the heyday of Swinging London – when Quant would host photoshoots, press days, and collection launches at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel – this experience is designed to commemorate 60 years of the miniskirt, while blending high fashion and luxury hospitality.

In addition to the display, the lobby will feature a vibrant, floral installation by world-renowned florist, Moyses Stevens, designed to echo Quant’s designs in both colour palette and playful patterns. For those with a sweet tooth, linger a little longer to enjoy a limited-edition dessert made with a combination of vanilla and tonka, almond sponge, and fruit cream, finished with decorative white chocolate flowers bursting with colour. Elsewhere, Jumeirah Carlton Tower’s restaurant, La Maison Ani, will serve a unique Sixties-inspired cocktail named The Modette, made with champagne, blue pea tea cordial, crème de violette, King’s ginger liqueur, British N3 gin, and lemon juice. The perfect way to toast London Fashion Week. Chin, chin.
