Where to watch fireworks on Bonfire Night 2019

Remember, remember, the 5th of November...well not strictly - most fireworks displays will be on the 2nd November over the weekend. Expect Guy Fawkes effigies, blazing bonfires, melting marshmallows and even laser lights at firework events

Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival

‘Ally Pally’ is hosting its unmissable annual fireworks display with a variety of different activities and entertainment to enjoy. Bringing Bavarian festivities to the capital, they will be holding the UK’s largest German Bier Festival. The Luna Cinema will also be screening movies for children and adults; Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Toy Story 4 for the kiddos and cult classics Silence of the Lambs and V for Vendetta for adults. There will be live music, a bonfire, an ice skating rink and of course – a resplendent display of fireworks, teamed with a soundtrack curated by Radio 1 and BBC6 Music presenter, Rob Da Bank.

Coram’s Fields Fireworks Night

Coram’s Fields is a park with a famous policy: ‘no adult can enter without a child.’ For this one night of the year however, all are welcome so expect a vibrant crowd. The event and fireworks display are free, but spectators are now being offered the chance to arrive when they want, avoid the crowds and get the best views of the park for only £10 for a premium ticket – 100% of the ticket sales will go to the invaluable work of Coram’s Field Childrens charity. With hot food, drink, fairgrounds and a colourful fireworks display, what more could you ask for on a cold winter’s night?

Battersea Park Fireworks

Wandsworth Council is throwing a firework display like no other, with more than 50,000 people in attendance last year. For this year’s event, there will also be an exclusive after-party for over 18s with live music, an array of bars and a variety of food to feast on throughout the night. English drum and bass band Rudimental will be performing.

Crystal Palace Fireworks Spectacular

The South London venue delivers a fireworks evening like no other. The extraordinary live show from the Lords of Lightning is back with a bang – firing multi-million volt bolts from their bodies for a white-hot explosive performance. Alongside a blazing bonfire, there will be food from the Nocturnal Village, licensed bars, fairgrounds and of course, a fireworks display with the added surprise of lasers.

Wimbledon Park Musical Fireworks Displays

This year, Wimbledon Park welcomes the Fire and Light performers Flame Oz and Halo, who will replace bonfires as part of Wimbledon Park’s commitment to climate change. The first firework show is based on The Greatest Showman musical, and the second will be an ‘Outer Space’ theme, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landings. There will also be a mouth-watering selection of food available, including CrossTown Donuts, Chit Chat Chai, Melter Meatballs, The Dough Shack, Quack N Mac and many more.

Ravenscourt Park Display

Ravenscourt Park’s fireworks display will feature live music, fire performers, a funfair, food stalls and new bars. This family-friendly night of fireworks and fun offers a children’s display at 7.15pm before the main event at 8pm. The Bishop’s Park display will not be taking place due to building works nearby, so all eyes will be firmly on Ravesncourt Park this year.

Wembley Park Light Up the Night Festival 2019

The Light up the Night Festival is a family-friendly event celebrating a mixture of Diwali and Bonfire Night, which is free to everyone. As well as a magical fireworks display, there will be a carnival parade, live performances, a street food market, lantern making workshops and a Diwali-inspired light parade.

Ascot Fireworks Spectacular Family Raceday

Ascots Firework spectacular is suitable for the whole family, with an explosive fireworks display of 20,000 shots released to musical beats. As one of the largest fireworks displays in the region, you can either view the display on the trackside lawns or the Level 4 viewing decks of the Kind Edward VII Enclosure for just an additional £10. After 4pm, the fairground rides will be £1 each with all proceeds will going to Ascot’s Round Table charity. Under 18’s enter for free when accompanied by an adult.
