As the son of a Rolling Stone, you’d think Gabriel Jagger knows a thing or two about what makes culture tick. Entitled ‘Seeds to Change’, the model hosted guests including Mick Jagger, Mary Charteris and her husband Robbie Furze, and Santino Le Saint at Petersham Nurseries in Richmond to celebrate the new media platform that champions the good in British arts and culture.
whynow stands at the frontier of change for the creative industry. With a new message, this platform is run by, and involves, exciting change-makers with the personal, powerful, positive ethos its founders have cultivated.
The eclectic crowd saw whynow contributors Julien Temple and Richard C. Smith enjoying Petersham Nurseries’ artisanal, seasonal fare of beetroot hummus with winter vegetables, bruschetta, EGO Prosecco and Harry Boglione’s Beer.
In true whynow style the platform brought a contemporary edge to the rustic venue with ethical screenprinters Rosie Lee Wilson and Meave O’Brien offering live digital printing of whynow’s ‘Personal, Powerful & Positive’ message on partygoers clothing.
Guests left the celebration inspired and uplifted by Gabriel and whynow’s forward-thinking positive ethos – which could only be a good thing at this time.
