Kate Moss at The Savoy

Ahead of Gucci's Cruise 2025 collection, which was shown at the Tate Modern on 13 May, bonafide Londoner Kate Moss gave the brand a whistlestop tour of her favourite haunts in the capital. Starting at The Savoy hotel, where a young Guccio Gucci got his first taste of the high life as a lift operator, Moss took the Italian fashion house to famous spots including Tower Bridge and St James's Park.

Anya Taylor-Joy in Leicester Square

Anya Taylor-Joy joined co-stars Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Zendaya on the rolling sand dunes of, err, Leicester Square for the world premiere of Dune: Part Two on 15 February 2024. Taylor-Joy chose a suitably stark and space-age Dior haute couture look, including a face-framing white organza cape, and a Jaeger-LeCoultre 101 watch for the event.

The stars turned out in force for the Dunhill and BSBP pre-BAFTA dinner on 13 February 2024. Held at Bourdon House – Dunhill's elegant Mayfair townhouse – attendees, including Regé-Jean Page, Adjoa Andoh, Phoebe Dynevor, Brian Cox, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Martin Freeman and more, donned their Dunhill finest for a memorable night in celebration of British cinema and television.

Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley donned her finest black tie attire for a dinner at Harrods in celebration of Valentino's A Night's Tale campaign in November. Wearing a butterfly-embellished gown from the Valentino SS24 collection, Huntington-Whiteley joined guests at the Knightsbridge department store to view the brand's takeover of Harrods' famed windows and toast the new ad campaign, in which she stars.

Rachel Zegler at Leicester Square

West Side Story star Rachel Zegler braved the London cold for the world premiere of the latest instalment of the Hunger Games franchise, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, in Leicester Square in November 2023. Zegler opted for a darkly dramatic black lace Dior gown from the SS24 collection for the event.

Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman at Claridge's

British actresses Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman were joined by a coterie of high-profile names for the Bazaar Women of the Year Awards at Claridge's on 7 November 2023. Clarke, who took home the Actress award, donned a sparkling Emilia Wickstead number for the event while Colman chose a satin gown from the Stella McCartney AW23 collection and both finished their looks with gorgeous Tasaki jewellery.

Margot Robbie at Leicester Square

The Barbie train rolled into town in July bringing with it the megawatt star power of lead actress Margot Robbie. The film's European premiere took place at the Leicester Square Cineworld on 12 July 2023 with Robbie donning a custom Vivienne Westwood gown inspired by a 1960 Enchanted Evening Barbie doll.

Simu Liu at Leicester Square

Robbie was joined at the premiere by the film's stellar cast, which includes Ryan Gosling, Issa Rae, America Ferrera, Hari Nef, and Will Ferrell, alongside director Greta Gerwig. Simu Liu, who plays one of numerous iterations of Ken, shared an inside look at the evening (and an up-close peek at his Fendi look) on Instagram.

Beyoncé at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

As part of her Renniassance world tour, Beyoncé stopped in north London for five dates at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Playing to sold-out audiences of more than 40,000 people per show, the star regaled fans with some of her biggest hits while donning a series of showstopping custom looks from brands including Mary Katrantzou, Alexander McQueen, Valentino, Tiffany and David Koma.

Stanley Tucci at the Royal Academy of Arts

Stanley Tucci was joined by a number of luminaries in the worlds of art, theatre, music and showbiz to celebrate the opening of the RA's Summer Exhibition on 6 June. Marking the launch of the 255th Summer Exhibition, other stars in attendance included Lila Moss, Claudia Winkleman, Charli XCX, Russell Tovey, Grayson Perry and Luke Evans.

Prince Harry at Westminster Abbey

Prince Harry, along with fellow members of the Royal family, heads of state from around the world and high-profile celebrities, gathered at Westminster Abbey for the Coronation of King Charles III on 6 May 2023. The official part of a weekend-long series of celebrations, a formal dress code was enforced, with many historic and military robes on display. For the occasion, Prince Harry chose a custom three-piece morning suit designed by Kim Jones for Dior.

Among the celebrity guests was Katy Perry – who performed at the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle the following day. Dressed in lavender Vivienne Westwood, Perry shared a series of snaps, alongside British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, as she visited a series of London landmarks before the ceremony.

Naomie Harris in Mayfair

British actress Naomie Harris was one of a number of famous faces to join watch brand Omega at its Her Time House in Mayfair in March. The invitation-only pop-up members' club housed an exhibition celebrating 100 years of Omega watchmaking for women, alongside a restaurant and events series including panel discussions, lectures and musical performances. For her visit to the Her Time House, Harris paired a Roksanda dress with Louboutin pumps and an Omega timepiece (well, what else?).

Lizzo at the Brits

American pop star Lizzo stole the show at the Brits in a series of fashion-forward looks created for her by stylist Patti Wilson. Lizzo began the evening in a ruffled metallic gown by Robert Wun before appearing on stage at The O2 in a voluminous pastel pink tulle confection by Act No1.

Lucien Laviscount at the Brits

Emily in Paris actor Lucien Laviscount attended the Brit awards to present the Artist of the Year gong to Harry Styles. The star was later spotted at an afterparty at the NoMad London hotel hosted by Warner Music and Kilian Paris, alongside Laura Whitmore, Iris Law, Charli XCX and Adwoa Aboah.

Zoë Kravitz at a YSL Beauté Black Opium Event

Actress and YSL Beauté ambassador Zoë Kravitz joined fellow Saint Laurent campaign star Abbey Lee at an event to celebrate the brand's Black Opium perfume at an undisclosed London location. Kravitz, of course, chose a velvet Saint Laurent dress and matching heels for the party, which she paired with Tiffany & Co. jewellery.

Alexa Chung at Buckingham Palace

Model, broadcaster and fashion designer Alexa Chung posed for this snap, cheekily captioned 'Naked dressing for Bucky P', while attending a reception celebrating British East and South-East Asian communities and Buckingham Palace. Chung chose a dress by Chinese-born, London-based designer Huishan Zhang for the event and was later spotted shaking hands with King Charles III.

English actress Florence Pugh chose The Standard hotel in King's Cross as the venue for a raucous 27th birthday party on 3 January 2023. Pugh shared a series of photographs from the evening on Instagram, saying that it was a 'beautiful way to start the year' and showing off a truly magnificent birthday cake.

Emma Radacanu at Buckingham Palace

British tennis star Emma Radacanu was honoured with an MBE for services to sport, becoming one of the first to receive the award from King Charles III, during a ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Radacanu chose a Dior dress from the Cruise 2023 collection and Tiffany jewellery for the event – before getting straight back on the court at the National Tennis Centre for training.

Daniel Craig at Wardens Grove

Daniel Craig was the guest of honour at a star-studded party hosted by luxury watch brand Omega to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise. Hosted in the railway arches at Bankside's Wardens Grove, the venue was transformed into a cornucopia of all things Bond, including movie props, classic Bond gadgets and, of course, the full line-up of 007's Omega watches.

Actress Alisha Boe was also among the star who attended the Omega dinner, whose invitees also included Daisy Edgar-Jones, Hayley Atwell and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Boe turned to Giorgio Armani for the evening, pairing a black velvet dress with an Armani Beauty makeup look and Omega watch for the event.

Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal was one of the many stars that turned out in force for a private dinner and after-party hosted by fashion brand Monot during London Frieze Week. Also in attendance was Kate Moss, Kate Hudson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Janelle Monae and Iris Law, to name just a few. Talk about a VIP guest list.

Janet Jackson in Greenwich

Janet Jackson joined a bevy of fashion-forward celebrities at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich for Alexander McQueen's SS23 show in October. The attendees (all dressed in McQueen, naturally) included Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, Letitia Wright and Sheila Atim while the models, including Naomi Campbell, paraded through a specially erected transparent bubble wearing Sarah Burton's latest collection inspired by Hieronymous Bosch.

Timothée Chalamet at the BFI London Film Festival

Timothée Chalamet joined a host of stars arriving in the capital this month for the BFI London Film Festival. Chalamet attended the premiere of his new film Bones And All, choosing a head-to-toe ivory Alexander McQueen look paired with an on-theme Vivienne Westwood bone necklace for the occasion.

Lashana Lynch appeared at the BFI London Film Festival twice in October to promote her role as Miss Honey in the upcoming Matilda the Musical. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker at the Rosewood London

Kourtney Kardashian accompanied her husband Travis Barker on a trip to the capital in September, where he played in a tribute concert to late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins at Wembley Stadium. The pair were also snapped browsing the boutiques of Soho's Carnaby Street and chose a suite at Holborn's luxurious five-star Rosewood hotel as the base for their trip.

Gemma Chan in Notting Hill

British actress Gemma Chan shared some very chic snaps taken in and around Notting Hill for a recent Harper’s Bazaar cover shoot. Chan is promoting her new film Don’t Worry Darling and was pictured wearing Louis Vuitton while walking a dog and enjoying a pint in The Ladbroke Arms.

Actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw made the most of the London sunshine when she paid a visit to Soho Home’s studio in Westbourne Grove for a fashion shoot. The star donned looks from London designers, such as Huishan Zhang, alongside international houses including Gucci, Miu Miu and Valentino for the event.

Keke Palmer in Leicester Square

American actress Keke Palmer was in full movie star mode at the London premiere of Nope in Leicester Square. Palmer wore a green lace Valentino gown and Jimmy Choo shoes for the premiere, appearing alongside co-star Daniel Kaluuya and director Jordan Peele.

The stars were out in force to promote Bullet Train in July. Co-stars Brad Pitt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Brain Tyree Henry posed in front of the London skyline on the roof of the Corinthia London hotel, with Pitt choosing a fetching Haans Nicholas Mott linen suit for the occasion and Taylor-Johnson pairing his jeans with classic Gucci horsebit loafers.

Ryan Gosling, Regé-Jean Page, Ana de Armas and Chris Evans at BFI Southbank

It was another star-studded affair at the South Bank for the London premiere of Netflix’s action flick The Gray Man. Regé-Jean Page showed off his style chops in a custom flared Ozwald Boateng suit while Ana de Armas shimmered in a metallic Louis Vuitton gown. Chris Evans kept things casual in a look by King & Tuckfield London while Ryan Gosling stole the show in a mismatched pastel Gucci suit and Tag Heuer Carrera watch.

Rita Ora in Soho

Born and bred Londoner Rita Ora shared this Soho appreciation post while visiting her hometown in mid-July. Pictured on Dean Street, in the heart of the neighbourhood, this was just one of many stops for the globe-trotting star, who has also recently been spotted in Paris and Portugal.

Serena Williams at the Natural History Museum

Serena Williams may have been knocked out of Wimbledon 2022 early on but she made up for the disappointment by taking her daughter Alexis for a day out at some of London’s world-class attractions. The pair visited the Natural History Museum, as well as dropping into the Lanesborough hotel for afternoon tea, Sketch for lunch, and took a trip on the London Eye.

The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge at Wimbledon

Wimbledon regular the Duchess of Cambridge attended the tournament in her royal capacity as patron of the All England Club, presenting men’s singles winner Novak Djokovic with his trophy and greeting fans and staff. The Duchess chose a navy polka dot Alessandra Rich dress for the final day of Wimbledon, where she was joined by the Duke of Cambridge and Prince George.

David Beckham at Wimbledon

David Beckham treated his mum Sandra to a day out at Wimbledon courtesy of Ralph Lauren, a long-time sponsor and uniform designer for the tournament. Proving that matchy-matchy style isn’t just for married couples and BFFs, the mother-son team coordinated in summer-perfect linen looks in tonal browns and whites.
