On the FROW: The celebrities at London Fashion Week AW24
Step inside the parties, events and shows that brought the celebrities out to play this season
This week saw the bi-annual circus of style that is London Fashion Week roll back into town – bringing with it many a fabulous frock, glamorous gown and, of course, the parties, shows and events worth wearing them to. And, with the 2024 BAFTAs happening to coincide with the shows, there have been endless opportunities for spotting celebrities at London Fashion Week AW24.
And while the FROWs were heaving with starlets dressed in the latest collections, famous faces weren’t confining themselves to the audience. At Completedworks, Joanna Lumley took to the stage to deliver a monologue – titled Lillith – in the round, while Brunello Cuccinelli brought a bevy of acting veterans and new faces together for an elegant dinner at Chiltern Firehouse to celebrate the stellar British film industry.
Elsewhere, the benches at Emilia Wickstead, Molly Goddard and Simone Rocha were overflowing with stylish ladies, including Rosamund Pike, Kelly Rutherford and Morfydd Clark. Chet Lo and David Koma, meanwhile, attracted a cool, young crowd including Jameela Jamil and Maya Jama and the stars trooped all the way over to east London’s Victoria Park to see the latest from Daniel Lee at Burberry.
