Greenwich Comedy Festival, Greenwich (all weekend)

Laugh your way into the weekend at Greenwich Comedy Festival, which takes place in the historic grounds of the National Maritime Museum. Hot off the back of Edinburgh Fringe, this year’s all-star line up includes Jason Manford, Sean Lock, Sara Pascoe and Tim Key. Away from the stage, tuck into an array of street food from Feast It, served with craft beers and summer cocktails.

Concours of Elegance, Hampton Court Palace (all weekend)

An automotive garden party like no other, Concours of Elegance brings together an array of the world’s finest classic cars and supercars, presented against the historic backdrop of Hampton Court Palace. Marvel at rare motors and refuel at the onsite restaurant Tom’s Kitchen, where you can opt for either a casual picnic or a sit-down lunch. Bompas & Parr Presents Butterfly Biosphere: Pleasures of the Nectar Dome, Mayfair (all weekend)

The latest immersive extravaganza from Bompas & Parr transforms Grosvenor Square into a psychedelic butterfly kingdom. Set against a spellbinding, iridescent backdrop, the free event highlights the importance of butterflies, allowing you to view the fluttering creatures up close, sample complimentary pollen-fuelled nectar shots and sit on a picture-perfect Butterfly Throne.

Sustainable Living Market, St James’s (Sunday)

In celebration of Zero Waste Week, sustainable lifestyle platform Pebble is popping up at St James’s Market. The free event promotes ethical and eco-friendly fashion, homeware and beauty products, alongside a bounty of food and drink options. There will be thought-provoking talks throughout the day, held in the SMEG Theatre on Regent Street.

Yann Couvreur x Claridges, Mayfair (All weekend)

This week, Claridges welcomes Parisian pâtissier Yann Couvreur for a week-long kitchen residency. Indulge in sweet, signature pastries including the renowned Paris Brest (pictured below) and a smooth and creamy dark chocolate and tonka bean éclair. Couvreur’s creations will be available exclusively each day in the Foyer from 11am-12pm, served from the Claridges’ ‘Elevenses’ trolley. The collaboration takes place ahead of the anticipated opening of Yann Couvre’s first bakery outside of France, set to open in Mayfair at the end of the year.

GAIL X Desmond & Dempsey, Notting Hill (All weekend)

Desmond & Dempsey, the luxury sleepwear brand founded by Molly Goddard and her partner Joel, has partnered with GAIL’s Bakery on Portobello Road on a limited-edition set of tea towels and an apron. Designed with the brand’s signature flair, the collaboration hopes to make “every day feel like a Sunday.” Visit this week to see for yourself.

Panerai Pop Up at Harrods, Knightsbridge

As a brand known for their deep-sea diving watches, Panerai have chosen to unveil their latest collection in a frankly terrifying tentacle-filled-spectacle. Taking centre stage in Harrods’ recently refurbished The Fine Watch Room, the new Submersible collection has now been created as a separate line from the Luminor family. The Submersible Chrono, made in collaboration with world-champion free-diver Guillaume Néry, is the highlight of the collection with a dial that mimics the reflection of light off a shark’s skin.
