The UK’s most famous flat racing event, Royal Ascot, returns to the eponymous racecourse this summer, bringing with it all the trappings of extravagant millinery, fabulous frocks and decadent dining for which it has become famed. And we’re giving you a chance to be part of the action.

We’ve teamed up with Royal Ascot to offer one lucky reader and their guest a VIP race day experience in the Village enclosure on Saturday 24 June 2023. Located at the heart of the racecourse, the Village enclosure boasts a vibrant, lively atmosphere with a front-row seat for the royal procession and all the racing action, as well as a plethora of live entertainment and eating and drinking options.

As well as entry to the enclosure, which includes access to a private viewing area with unbeatable views of the races, you’ll receive a full hospitality package to enjoy throughout the day. There will be Pimm’s on arrival, a lavish three-course luncheon and afternoon tea in the Restaurant in the Village, all accompanied by complimentary champagne, beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks.

And forget about squeezing on the train. You’re a VIP so of course Ascot is throwing in car parking. You’ll also be provided with a racecard and racing paper on arrival so you can get stuck right in picking your winning horses.

• Entrants must be 18 years of age or over, and resident in Great Britain, excluding Northern Ireland.
• The competition is not open to employees of Ascot Racecourse, or those involved in the competition, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the prize draw.
• Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
• One prize winner will be selected. The prize includes two admission tickets to the Village Enclosure and two places in the Restaurant in the Village on Saturday 24th June. The winner will be notified via email. Failure to respond within 7 days will result in forfeiture of the prize and a new winner will be selected.
• All prizes are subject to availability and are as described – there is no cash alternative. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
• If, due to circumstances beyond our control, Ascot Racecourse are unable to provide the stated prize, they reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal value.
• For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel/transportation, car parking, souvenirs, gratuities, additional excursions, and attractions or any other costs or expenses (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
