Eddie Murphy once said “flowers are the fastest way to a woman’s heart” and we can hardly disagree. Whatever the occasion, sending a beautiful bouquet is a surefire way to ensure someone feels loved. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, we’ve rounded up our favourite luxury florists offering online orders, home delivery and promising gorgeous arrangements that won’t let you down.

The trend-setting choice: Lavender Green

Established back in 1990 by Sue Barnes, and opening up shop in the heart of Chelsea, Lavender Green has been a trailblazing business from the get-go. Over the last 30 years, its highly skilled team of florists and designers has grown, an online site was born and a whole host of impressive clients, including royal families, global brands and international celebrities, are returning customers.

Known for its fine bouquets featuring gorgeous colours and plenty of variety, turn to Lavender Green to cheer up your home, spoil a loved one and mark special occasions. We love the vibrant romance of the Romeo and Juliet bouquet. A colourful arrangement featuring Pink Floyd roses, pastel spray rose, deep red snapdragons, hot pink lisianthus, moody hypericum berries, pink astrantia and delicate phlox – an alternative romantic feel to brighten up the winter blues.

The single-variety choice: FlowerBx

In 2015, Whitney Bromberg Hawkings — former senior vice president of communications at Tom Ford — left her two decade career in fashion behind to launch FlowerBx. Built on a mission to provide luxury, single-variety flowers at an accessible price point, FlowerBx became the world’s largest international luxury floral brand in 2021, with deliveries spanning 24 countries. Despite its wide remit, FlowerBx doesn’t compromise on quality. Its single-variety bouquets are plucked at their freshest by responsible growers and make a bold statement thanks to their understated design and stand-out colours.

Our favourite is the Coral Crush fringed tulip bouquet with its candy-pink hue and sugar-dipped tips. Simply select your stem count, ranging from 25 to 50 – the latter promises a seriously extravagant celebration.

The sustainable choice: Blooming Haus

This Chelsea-based florist’s online store has only been open since 2020 but it’s giving many of the established floristry stalwarts a run for their money. Founded by Michal Kowalski and Michael Dariane, sustainability is integral to the business. A B-Corp and Planet Mark-certified florist, the shop is powered by green energy; all waste is composted; London orders are delivered by bike and the business began a carbon-offset programme in 2023.

The florist behind events including London Fashion Week, some of the luxury offerings are truly mind-blowing. If you’re looking to make a big blooming statement, look no further than the 2026 Flower of the Year Bouquet, made up of elegant pink sweet peas.

The in-season choice: Bloom

Also keeping sustainability at the fore is Bloom. Founded by Larry Walshe in 2020, Bloom’s selection of seasonal flowers avoids waste while bringing bright, youthful and elegant stems into your home. Walshe’s expertise is second to none it comes as no surprise that he’s worked with the Royal family, fashion houses Dior and Valentino, as well as celebrity clientele such as Adele and Rihanna.

For Bloom’s spring collection, expect an abundance of hyacinths, freesias and tulips to name just a few, hand-tied and beautifully scented. We’re loving the berry purple tulips: the official flower of the Netherlands which symbolises happiness and grace. A gorgeously deep and romantic colour, display in a low vase and and instantly brighten up your home.

The traditional choice: Moyses Stevens

Since 1876 Moyses Stevens has been creating some of the finest bouquets in the capital and is rumoured to be the Royal Family’s choice of florist for special occasions. And if it’s good enough for royalty, it’s good enough for us. The company’s award-winning bouquets come in every colour imaginable, so you’re really spoilt for choice. Moyses Stevens also has shops in Mayfair, St Pancras, Selfridges, Sloane Square and Battersea, with the latter being home to the brand’s flower school, which hosts a number of floristry workshops. If your loved one is a fan of soft whites and blush pinks, the decadent Marilyn Monroe bouquet is for them.

The local choice: Floom

Floom is a unique floristry directory, connecting you with thousands of independent florists across the UK and, in turn, helping local businesses. All the bouquets on the website are supplied by different, smaller brands with the online locator allowing you to find out exactly where your bouquet is coming from. Floom provides plenty of choice, so it’s hard to pick just one, but we’re big fans of the Double Cream bouquet by Gardenia of London. You can’t go wrong with a classic combination of white and cream.
