A Mexican Pop-Up at 34 Mayfair

This week, 34 Mayfair is hosting a Mexican fiesta in partnership with Mexico’s famous Licoreria Limantour bar. The party will take place in the Tracey Emin-designed private dining room, bedecked with Mexican décor for the event. Guests can pick from a 10-strong menu of cocktails and enjoy a menu of Latin American flavours, including tempura courgette flower filled with Chipotle cheese and tuna tostadas and corn croquettes. It’s set to be the party of the week, so don’t miss out.

The Great British Food Festival

This weekend, tuck into a bounty of artisan street food at the Great British Food Festival at Chiswick House. The delectable, family-friendly event will showcase more than 70 different traders including street food vendors and artisan food stalls. There will also be workshops, competitions, live music, demonstrations and children’s entertainment, including the Food Olympics.

The Crystal Maze Live Experience

The Crystal Maze Live Experience continues this weekend, set in an immersive venue in Angel. Guided by your Maze Master, teams of eight explore four different interactive zones (Industrial, Futuristic, Medieval and Aztec), taking part in physical and mental challenges against the clock. The experience finishes in the Crystal Dome, just like on the cult ’90s gameshow. Richard O’Brien sadly not included.

Rathfinny on the Roof, Ham Yard Hotel

‘V For’ Vegan Food Festival

‘V For’ is a month-long vegan food festival at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, boasting an array of vegan food vendors alongside workshops, demonstrations and DJs. This weekend welcomes ‘Plant Pop’, an immersive, sensory experience that ‘celebrates the beauty of the natural world’, as well as nightly live music, a talk by a TEDx speaker and, of course, plenty of vegan cuisine.

PLAY expo
