Calling all car connoisseurs – the Goodwood Festival of Speed returns this weekend for the ultimate motorsport-themed summer garden party, hosted by Charles Gordon-Lennox, Duke of Richmond and the owner of the Goodwood estate in Sussex. This year’s theme is Speed Kings – Motorsport’s Record Breakers, which will commemorate people and machines that raise the bar in the world of motorsport. Petrol heads can marvel at the latest supercar launches and rare classic motors, and witness extreme sports spanning daring jumps and stunts. This year’s fair includes a special exhibition to mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, curated by Ben Moore at Art Below. It features 12 influential, international artists including Anish Kapoor, Joana Vasconcelos and Chris Levine, each of whom has transformed an astronaut’s helmet in their own unique style.
