The sunflower motif first appears in the brand’s archival sketches dating back to the 1950s. Considering founder Harry Winston’s reputation as the King of Diamonds, it was only natural that the debut Sunflower collection captured the flower’s radial symmetry with some of the world’s most exquisite diamonds. This set the tone for decades of designers to marry the soft grace of nature with everlasting diamonds to create timeless pieces.

The core Harry Winston Sunflower collection translates the bloom into a modern design featuring a round brilliant diamond centre stone framed by a halo of eight smaller diamonds. The contemporary design is featured on a variety of versatile pieces, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings, that work beautifully for everyday wear and special occasions alike.

This year, Harry Winston is adding a splash of colour to its iconic collection. Created in a limited production, the Sunflower suite sees the motif come to life with a glittering yellow diamond laid in the centre of a halo of diamond petals. Also new this season, Harry Winston’s Premier Sunflower timepiece borrows its design from the jewellery collection. Rendered in a bright yellow hue, the watch’s white gold case is studded with 57 brilliant-cut diamonds and frames a mother-of-pearl dial dotted with 120 brilliant-cut diamonds and eight yellow sapphires, all set on a pearly yellow alligator leather strap and secured with a white gold ardillon buckle set with more glittering diamonds.
