The newest addition to the British brand’s fragrance portfolio is a citrusy-woody creation that evokes the feeling of basking under a golden sun amid rolling green hills and ripe citrus trees. Senior perfumer Julia Massé drew inspiration from the vibrance of clementines for the collection: “Clementine to me is sunshine all year long. I love its fizzy, zesty, green and bitter notes which have a complexity not found in other citrus fruits. It’s an instant injection of optimistic energy and warmth, inspiring me to connect with nature and reclaim a sense of peace.”
The Sunlit Clementine and Vetiver collection includes an Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, a bath and shower gel, and a body lotion. The Eau de Parfum’s sophisticated blend is enriched with clementine and mandarin zest and infused with velvety iris absolute and smoky-earthy notes of bourbon vetiver for a warm fragrance with seductive leather-suede accents. The Eau de Toilette, meanwhile, layers clementine and mandarin zest over a base of creamy fig leaves and roasted hazelnuts.
As with all Molton Brown fragrances, the new collection is gender neutral, meaning it will make for a great Father’s Day gift (that you can also borrow for yourself). So why not really treat him and gift the complete fragrance set so he’ll be in summer mode all year round?

Honoured with a Royal Warrant from Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Molton Brown produces its products locally in a carbon-neutral facility in Hertfordshire. Sustainability is a key part of the brand’s DNA and, while all its formulas are cruelty-free, the Sunlit Clementine and Vetiver collection is also vegan. One of the most important ingredients in the collection, organic bourbon vetiver, is sustainably grown by Madagascan farmers who are working on a project to convert waste from the vetiver distillation process into compost or fuel for powering the distillery. Molton Brown also produces its plastic bottles from 50 per cent recycled plastic which can further be recycled in UK stores as part of the brand’s ‘Return. Recycle. Reward’ scheme, which awards customers who bring in empty product bottles with a 10 per cent discount.
