April 11 marks National Pet Day. To celebrate, Pan Pacific London has launched Paws at Pan Pacific, a luxury stay package for both cats and dogs. Guests, and their furry friends, can expect to be met with pet beds, bowls and toys, as well as access to the hotel’s on-standby pet concierge, among a host of other animal-inspired benefits.

Pan Pacific London opened in September 2021, opposite Liverpool Street Station in the landmark tower at One Bishopsgate Plaza. The first European outpost from Singapore’s renowned Pan Pacific Hotels Group, interiors are the work of legendary Canadian design studio Yabu Pushelberg, while the food is the vision of executive chef Lorraine Sinclair, formerly of the Langham Hong Kong and the Fairmount Dubai. The 237-room hotel features a dedicated well-being floor – with an 18.5 metre infinity pool – an Afternoon Tea lounge, two restaurants and three destination bars.

As part of the hotel’s Paws at Pan Pacific package, human guests are invited to enjoy a signature treatment on the Wellbeing Floor, while their furry friends, at an additional cost, are treated to their own massage from Sarah Hand, of nearby pet-pampering salon Shoreditch Dog House. Should you fancy Afternoon Tea in Pan Pacific London’s Orchid Lounge, then dog walkers from Bone Rangers are on hand to take your dog (or cat) for a walk around the surrounding city at a charge per hour.

That’s not all. Working with pet nutritionist Anna Webb, Pan Pacific has created the two-dish, in-room Paws Dining Menu. For breakfast, dogs will enjoy scrambled eggs on top of slices of lamb sausage with nitrate-free crispy bacon; while for cats, it’s finely-diced raw salmon and finely-diced raw tuna. For dinner, dogs will be treated to a hot pot of seared lamb breast with carrots and mashed parsnips; felines, meanwhile, will be served a soup of finely-shredded chicken breast and de-shelled prawns.

A proportion of proceeds from Paws at Pan Pacific London packages will go directly to pet charity Blue Cross, to support their cause of helping sick, injured, and homeless pets.

The Paws at Pan Pacific London package launches 11 April 2022 and is available with a stay in a premier (or above) room category. From £645 per night, including breakfast for both pet and owner (inclusive of a £50 donation to pet charity Blue Cross), panpacificlondon.com
