If you thought true luxury cruising – free from maddening crowds and bunfight buffets – just didn’t exist, then you’ve never been on board a Regent Seven Seas Cruises ship. More like a floating, boutique hotel than your usual jam-packed boat, its high-end fleet comes complete with private balconies, spacious lounges, on board spa, an inviting pool deck and much, much more.

An unrivalled experience when it comes to discovering the world in style – while indulging in as much of the world’s finest cuisine and drink as you desire – Regent Seven Seas Cruises sails to more than 500 ports across the world, offering endless opportunities for exploration.

And you’re not just cared for at sea, either. Take advantage of Regent’s latest collection of Premium Land Programmes and you’ll be privy to a range of exciting iconic explorations on select voyages, from the internationally iconic to off-the-beaten-track gems. Even better, everything is included in the price. So, whether you’re on land or on board, you really can switch off, indulge, and soak up the experience – without the creeping dread of what the bill will look like at the end.

With Regent Seven Seas Cruises, the world really is your oyster.

Iconic Explorations: The Ultimate Land and Sea Collection

Meticulously planned for the discerning traveller, each bespoke programme in Regent’s Iconic Explorations offering has been curated with you in mind – and can be tailored to suit every whim. And you can choose to go either before or after your cruise: at your luxury, indeed.

Designed as a series of three- or four-night adventures, the Premium Land Programme includes everything from your luxury hotel or lodge, to transfers, tours, food and beverages and everything in between, ensuring your stay is totally seamless. From Buenos Aires to Rio, South Africa to Cambodia, you’ll enjoy all the carefree benefits of cruising, while on land. So where will you be headed?

Cambodia: Angkor Wat

Fly into Singapore for a smooth transfer to Cambodia, where a unique and thrilling adventure awaits. Discover the carved tower tops and ancient stone steps of the Angkor Wat Temple complex, set deep within the Angkor jungle, not far from the famed destination of Siem Reap. The jewel in the crown of this onshore experience, you’ll be blown away by the rich history, grand architecture, and archaeological treasures of the Khmer Empire.

You’ll also get the chance to explore the city of Angkor Thom, including the 12th-century Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Elephant Terrace. The un-restored temple of Ta Prohm (which you may recognise from Tomb Raider) will also feature on the itinerary, as well as a chance to mix with the native communities and celebrate the local culture through food, music, and artisanal workshops.

South Africa: Phinda Game Reserve

After touching down in either Johannesburg or Tambo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by an on-the-ground guide who will walk you to your nearby luxury hotel – either the InterContinental Johannesburg or Tambo Airport Hotel – where you can make the most of the facilities, or explore the city’s nearby shops, galleries, and museums. You’ll then head over to Durban where a local representative will escort you to the spectacular Phinda Game Reserve located in the lush Zululand region of northern Kwazulu Natal.

A truly unique stay, 25 of the suites at the reserve boasting their own veranda, outdoor shower, and plunge pool, while 16 are built on stilts and appear to float between the forest floor and the towering torchwood trees. Head out in 4x4s with the knowledgeable rangers and trackers and enjoy spotting Africa’s Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, black and white rhino, and buffalo) as well as over 380 bird species, while the marine diversity off the nearby coast of Sodwana is said to rival the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

South America: Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Iguazú Falls

There are several ways to explore Buenos Aires and Rio with Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The first focuses on the spectacular Iguazú Falls, one of the great natural wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At 80m high and 3km wide, the Iguazú Falls span the border between Argentina and Brazil. Made up of multiple, breath-taking cascades in every direction, you’ll also have the chance to spot more than 700 species of butterfly and 400 species of bird. This unforgettable tour also takes in the eclectic neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires, from arty Palermo to the colourful roads of La Boca.

Alternatively, combine the great falls with a jungle tour, including meeting a community of indigenous Guarani people. The waterfall tour includes an eco-train ride and visit to Devil’s Throat, where one of the Iguazú River’s widest parts roars over a high cliff and crashes down into a misty pool below, where rainbows are almost always visible in the mist.

Guaranteed to deliver the journey of a lifetime, whichever route you choose, from land to sea, luxury cruising never looked better.
