Valérie Messika has tapped Kate Moss for her latest jewellery campaign, alongside Joan Smalls Dutch actress Sylvia Hoeks. The trio was photographed by photographic duo Mert & Marcus to showcase Messika’s new Lucky Move collection of swinging sautoir necklaces and chunky carabiner chain bracelets, which play with weight and proportion.“It’s a sexy collection,” comments Valerie. “It contrasts the delicacy of medallions with the strong geometric design of the Move motif.”

Each kinetic piece in Messika’s bestselling Move collection features an abacus-like design that allows diamonds to glide freely across a hidden wire. “It is both playful and polished. I chose these three women because they have attitude.”

Moss and Messika are a perfect fit, both lauded for their unique brand of glamour, suffused with a rock ‘n’ roll edge. “I’ve worn Messika jewellery before and I have always admired the brand,” said Moss. “Jewellery should be comfortable and something you can easily wear day or night. Don’t be afraid to mix modern and vintage pieces.”

“Have fun with it,” agrees Smalls. “Even when I’m dressed down, I like to pile on jewellery to elevate my look.”
