Clé De Peau Beauté

Clé de Peau Beauté is the most exclusive brand within the Shiseido portfolio and is Japan’s bestselling luxury skincare line. Its products masterfully strike the balance of make-up and skincare, whether it's a foundation loaded with skin-boosting botanicals or a protective, deeply hydrating lipstick, which glides on silk. Perfect for adding a little shimmer this festive season, the Luminizer Face Enhancer employs light-reflecting technology to define, contour and highlight your complexion. While the iridescent tones look sparkly in the case, the overall effect is in fact very subtle, creating a beautifully light, gentle sheen.

Cle de Peau's pièce de résistance is La Crème (£520) – an extraordinary, near magic overnight cream, which you can read more about here.

Medium Lady Dior Bag

The iconic Lady Dior bag was born in 1995, when France’s First Lady, Bernadette Chirac, gifted the elegant, top handled tote to Diana Princess of Wales, after whom it was named. It has since remained a perennial favourite for ladies the world over, available in an array of textures and colourways. Crafted from calfskin leather, this ornate iteration is intricately handsewn with hundreds upon hundreds of glass beads and embroidery, inspired by the resplendent light festivals of southern Italy. It features a removable shoulder strap and signature gleaming Dior charms.

Hermès silk scarf

An Hermès scarf has been a fail-safe gift since it debuted in 1937. This season, slippery silk squares bustle with wild horses, leopards, figurines and feathers in a riot of exuberant colours. How you choose to style your scarf – draped, knotted or bowed – is up to you.

Dr Sebagh Platinum Gold Elixir

Dr Sebagh's Platinum Gold Elixir is often considered a fountain of youth in a bottle – or rather, a fittingly festive, shiny gold vial. This powerful, science-driven super-serum dramatically firms, diminishes fine lines and revives dull skin, working deep below the surface. As its name suggests, the magic ingredient is 24 karat gold, lauded for its healing, anti-inflammatory properties and collagen-boosting credentials, thus creating a radiant, shimmering glow. Use during a four-week period and be amazed at the results.

Gucci flower and Double G earrings with diamonds

These diminutive Gucci earrings have just the right balance of subtlety and swagger. Made from 18K white gold, floral pendants delicately hang from the Milanese maison's signature Double G emblem, encrusted with crystals and diamonds.

Alexander McQueen Vetiver Moss Eau de Parfum

Pronounced 'sheep-rah', chypre is acknowledged within the perfume world as the most sophisticated and beautiful of fragrance families and is thought to have been named after Cyprus, the birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Chypre scents are warm, woody and enveloping, with a glamorous edge. Alexander McQueen's Vetiver Moss Eau de Parfum is a prime example of a luxurious chypre fragrance with added va-va-voom, conjuring windswept walks and mossy moors through smoky vetiver and soft orris roots. Its alluring bottle was made for showing off on your dressing table.

Tom Dixon Royalty candle

A candle for the design-conscious, Tom Dixon's scents are housed in handspun silver, with a keepsake marble lid. Made from 100% natural ingredients, the Royalty candle captures the thoroughly British scent of teatime – scones, strawberry jam and a drive home in a leathery vintage Bentley, through notes of bergamot, earl grey tea, cedarwood and verbena. It casts a cool, enchanting glow as soon as the wick is lit.
