We might be jumping the gun, but with temperatures rising and clouds beginning to clear, it looks like spring is well on its way. Which means it’s time to begin planning your diary for the all-important London social season – and one event you won’t want to miss out on this year is Salon Privé London.

Often dubbed ‘Royal Ascot for cars’, the exclusive automotive garden party is now in its third year and promises three days of the best in cars, cuisine, and luxury lifestyle. Set just a stone’s throw from the King’s Road in West London, this year’s edition will be held at the prestigious Royal Hospital Chelsea from 18 to 20 April 2024.

Glistening on the sun-kissed lawns, you’ll find a priceless display of immaculate cars including the latest supercar and hypercar models from the likes of Aston Martin, Koenigsegg and Rolls-Royce, in addition to rare classic cars. Putting a unique spin on the traditional Concours d’Elegance, where cars are strictly for display only, at the heart of Salon Privé London is Concours de Vente, a special section in which every car on display is for sale. The world’s first and only judged concours event where every car can be purchased, for 2024, a carefully curated selection of 75 rare and historic cars will be shipped in from around the globe to create a remarkable display.

While all three days of Salon Privé will be a jubilant celebration of stunning cars, daily themes mean a special focus on certain automotive icons. On Thursday, attendees can bear witness to Porsche Passion while Friday will see a McLaren display and Saturday is focused on Supercar Stars. Discover the full agenda:

Salon Privé day 1: Media and VIP opening day

Kicking off celebrations, Salon Privé will open with an exclusive VIP day that will see event partner Porsche mark the 50th anniversary of its iconic high-performance 911 Turbo with a special presentation. Other partner brands will reveal their latest cars while some will make exciting European and even global debuts at the event.

Salon Privé day 2: Ladies’ Day

A particularly glamorous day on the lawn, Friday’s elegant Ladies’ Day is sponsored by luxury British jewellery brand Boodles. This is your excuse to dress to the nines and push sartorial boundaries in hopes of taking first place in the Best Hat competition (and scoring yourself some dazzling fine jewellery from Boodles). Sip on champagne as you browse the sparkling jewels and survey one of the largest collections of McLaren supercars ever displayed in London.

Salon Privé day 3: Supercar Saturday

For the grand finale, Salon Privé London has partnered up with private members’ motoring club, SCC, for a display of the latest supercars and hypercars that’ll have gearheads amped up. As well as checking out this line-up of never-before-seen cars up-close, guests will also have the chance to engage with the minds crafting the stories behind the models. Promising fun for the whole family, the event will also host a Luxury Shopping Village promenade featuring a curated selection of premium brands across fashion, beauty, homeware, and more.

For a sun-downer tipple, visit The Sloane cocktail lounge on the first two days for a special menu from London Essence soundtracked by a live DJ. The club-like atmosphere is enhanced by specialty guest bars each day which will see London Essence partnering with hotels including The Savoy, Kwãnt Mayfair, and The Kensington Hotel.
