It’s been a big year for Vacheron Constantin. The Genevan watchmaker extended its celebrated Overseas family with the Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Skeleton – a watch that won the ‘Calendar and Astronomy’ prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2020 – and the Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Blue, the first Vacheron Constantin to marry a blue-lacquered dial with a pink gold case and bracelet. There was also some heavy-hitting haute horology from the brand’s Les Cabinotiers division – the Astronomical Striking Grand Complication Ode to Music showcasing the depth of the manufacture’s technical and artistic capabilities.
The most exciting news, for anyone heretofore priced out of the Vacheron Constantin club, however, might be the fact that the brand’s flagship Bond Street boutique is now offering finance options on new watches up to £50,000.
Based on a minimum 10 per cent deposit, customers can benefit from 0 per cent finance for 24 months, a figure that increases to 9.9 per cent if you opt for a payment option that extends beyond 24 months.
Available on all watches up to £50,000, which includes third-generation Overseas models and the highly-collectible Historiques Triple Calendrier 1942, the offer is only available in the UK for now, with other markets expected to roll out similar finance options soon.
What’s more, if you’re considering purchasing a new Vacheron Constantin timepiece, you can now take advantage of the brand’s trade-in service, by reselling a watch you currently own through pre-owned watch specialist – and Vacheron Constantin partner – Watchfinder.
Bring your watch – along with its original box and paper work – to the store for a pre-valuation quote, which can then be put towards a new Vacheron Constantin. If the new watch is valued at £50,000 or less, you can then opt for 0 per cent finance option on the remaining balance.
Valuations and authentication can take up to a week – so get to Bond Street soon if you want to upgrade your watch collection this side of Christmas.
