Every woman’s wardrobe needs certain key pieces: a little black dress, sleek boots, warm tailored coats, and most importantly, gorgeous everyday jewellery. The key to great everyday jewellery lies at the intersection of sparkling diamonds and minimal chains. It’s the kind that adds an eye-catching element to your outfit while being versatile enough to work with every aesthetic and outfit. Enter FOPE: the fine jewellery brand your wardrobe has been crying out for.
Founded in 1929 in Vicenza, FOPE continues to be headquartered in one of Italy’s historic jewellery-making centres. The family-run business, which started as a small goldsmith workshop, has flourished over the decades into a global jewellery house boasting showrooms across the world, including Venice, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, and Dubai, along with a flagship on London’s Bond Street.
Over the years, the Italian jewellery brand has continued to imbue cutting-edge innovation into its sophisticated pieces. FOPE jewellery is crafted to the highest standards from top quality, ethically sourced materials. Its clean and minimal design language, meanwhile, is bolstered by the house’s signature Novecento gold chain mesh and its unique Flex’It system.
Introduced in 2007, the Flex’It system is a goldsmithing marvel that sees dozens of tiny gold springs hidden between each link of a mesh chain to make it fully stretchable and flexible. Promising unrivalled comfort and versatility, Flex’It technology is now the foundation of FOPE’s extensive jewellery collections and makes for easy jewellery gifting since size is no longer a concern.
And, when it comes to actually choosing the perfect piece, every FOPE collection has been re-imagined to be worn by both men and women with versatile designs that can be worn in a multitude of styles. The new Solo necklaces make for the perfect example. Each necklace features a hidden clasp within a design feature on the front of the necklace. A rondel with a central white or black diamond, set on the “o” of the FOPE logo hides a secret: a D-Click (diamond click) button that activates the opening mechanism.
The new Solo necklaces can be worn comfortably as chokers in a new shorter length, while standard length versions maintain a perfectly round shape that sits as soft as a silk scarf on the skin thanks to FOPE’s unique Flex’it gold mesh. It is also the easiest necklace to put on and take off as it opens and closed from the front foregoing a fiddly back clasp that can catch on the hair or work itself forwards as it is worn. The Solo necklaces can also be joined together to create an extra-long necklace or can be twisted and worn around the wrists as a multi-layered bracelet, making this design not only wonderfully comfortable but extremely versatile too.
The Solo necklaces, along with matching Solo Flex’it bracelets, are available with or without additional diamond pavé set rondels for additional sparkle and available in 18ct yellow, white or rose gold.
Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for a great gift for a loved one, FOPE jewellery is guaranteed to impress. Comfortable and stylish to boot, trust us, you’ll be reaching for these fine jewels every day.
