While any confirmed Crockett & Jones fan is well-versed in its Chukka boots, for the uninitiated, the Chukka is an unlined ankle boot crafted in suede that treads the line between smart and casual. The Waterfront collection’s Bibury is a more informal adaptation of the staple, released just in time for warmer weather.
The Bibury features the Chukka’s elegant one-piece all-round pattern paired with an attractive facing that seamlessly sweeps across the vamp in a butted seam apron. The key update here, however, is Crockett & Jones’ new wedge rubber sole. Inspired by a classic boat shoe-style sole, it has a sloping wedge design and horizontal tread pattern, lending the shoe comfort, durability, and grip.
