When was the last time you met someone who worked in the office five days a week? We’re willing to bet not since the Covid-19 pandemic swept across the world ripping up the 9 to 5 rulebook and replacing it with all manner of hybrid working arrangements.

According to research by London-based estate agent JLL, 87 per cent of people worked from home less than once per week pre-pandemic. Now, 58 per cent plan to work from home at least once or twice a week – it follows, then, that our living situations need to adapt accordingly.

One London neighbourhood prescient enough to have seen this shift coming is Royal Docks.
