Embark on a sensory experience with Savage Rose, the debut perfume oil from style maven, Anine Bing.

We have long been smitten by girl crush Anine Bing’s impeccable style, which works a minimalist, Scandinavian approach with laidback LA glamour. Since launching her eponymous label in 2012, the former model and blogger has garnered a cult following for her effortless cotton basics, leather biker jackets and studded boots with a rock ‘n’ roll edge, endorsed by the likes of Kendall Jenner, Poppy Delevingne and Jessica Alba.

Clothing and accessories have cross-generational appeal, with a global fan-base ageing from 20 through 60+, a demographic demonstrated by her popular #AroundTheWorldInANINEBING Instagram hashtag, launched earlier this year.

This week, The LA-based, Danish designer unveils her first fragrance, Savage Rose. The evocative perfume oil is a heady blend of Bulgarian and white rose, spiced with notes of musk and black pepper for a seductive scent that, like her fashion line, brings together both masculine and feminine influences.

This is not your typical floral fragrance, but rather a complex, layered perfume, housed in a handbag-friendly bottle. The high concentration also means that an itsy splash lasts all day long. Here, Bing shares her memories of fragrance, alongside her favourite style staples and beauty tips.

It was important for me to create a perfume oil that was both visually beautiful and also easy to throw in a bag for women on the go. I wanted something that felt both feminine and a little masculine, to really explore the duality in women.

I created this perfume because some of my earliest memories are of Scandinavia, running around my grandmother’s rose garden as a little girl. So it’s a scent that is very close to my heart.

I love collecting different scents men’s, women’s, anything that really speaks to me. I also love the bottles themselves, which I put on display in my bathroom.

The first perfume I ever bought was Gucci Envy or Gucci Rush. They were every teenager’s dream back then.

I try to keep my beauty regime as simple as possible. I cleanse morning and night and I will use a toner sometimes to balance my skin. I love this overnight mask by Paula’s Choice that keeps my skin hydrated and dewy and I always take my makeup off with coconut oil, which keeps my skin so smooth. For make-up, I try to wear very little during the day; maybe some mascara and bronzer or highlighter.

I wish I had known earlier how important it is to have a beauty routine in your life.I think the consistency helps you to function better mentally, but it also works wonders for your skin, body and mind. Before kids and my business, I had no sleeping or eating routines whatsoever, and now I just feel and look so much better when I go to bed before 10 and eat my six meals a day.

The Anine Bing girl has effortless style and is not afraid to be both feminine and edgy. She is someone who really owns herself in the simplicity of her wardrobe, while not being afraid to take a little risk with a little extra lace or a patent statement boot.

Right now, I can’t get enough of my Frida jeans, worn either with one of my silk camisoles or an oversized vintage tee, and I always a leather jacket when it starts to cool down at night.

My style icon is Kate Moss, always. And I’ve forever loved Brigitte Bardot

I can’t live without jeans, oversized vintage tees, the lace bras from my line, a pair of booties and a leather jacket.

I love how women dress in London, it is both rock ‘n’ roll and effortless. I get so much inspiration while in London and it’s quickly become one of my favorite cities to visit.

Savage Rose is priced at £55 and available at Harvey Nichols, 109 – 125 Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7RJ
