This June, delectable delights await on the island of Mallorca

They say that time is the ultimate luxury, which is all well and good until you realise you’re sitting alone in a below-average bar with no itinerary. Clearly, it’s what you do that matters. Enter the world of Mr & Mrs Smith (real-life Mr and Mrs: James and Tamara Lohan) who since 2003, have been scouring the earth for the most stunning bedrooms and experiences to match the musings of D.H. Lawrence’s Italian diaries.

This June, a delectable delight awaits on the island of Mallorca. Mr & Mrs Smith has partnered up with Tom Parker Bowles (food critic extraordinaire and co-founder of luxury concierge company Quintessentially) and restaurateur Eddie Hart (of Barrafina, El Pastor and Quo Vadis fame)on an exclusive food and wine-filled weekend.

From their base at the dreamy Can Bordoy hotel, a ‘sanctuary of decadent romanticism’, guests will embark on three relaxed days of food-focused activities led by Tom Parker Bowles and Eddie Hart, including a produce tasting tour of Palma’s Mercat de l’Olivar and cooking masterclasses from Eddie’s chefs at El Camino. Sunday morning holds a particularly enchanting experience: a luxury yacht has been chartered to an area of coastline only accessible by boat after guests have enjoyed a plethora of tapas at El Camino. Away from food, one will also be able to explore the sleepy town of Sóller, where the fastest moving things are the retro trams.

Mr & Mrs Smith co-founder, James Lohan, said: ‘To celebrate our growing collection of SideStory experiences, we’re delighted to offer our members an exclusive weekend away to uncover Mallorca’s exceptional culinary traditions with two heavyweights of London’s food scene. Under the guiding hand of the esteemed Tom and Eddie, we’re sure this is an opportunity for our members to savour.’

SideStory Weekend: A Taste of Mallorca takes place 7–10 June and has very limited spaces. Prices start from €3,600 (£3,080) depending on room category and occupancy; mrandmrssmith.com
