BLESS Collection Hotels' first outpost has opened on Madrid’s fashionable Calle de Velázquez, offering exclusive experiences designed for the sybaritic pleasures, right in the heart of the city.
This modern brand is part of the Palladium Hotel Group and is focussed on the ever-growing ‘bleisure’ demographic, deftly fusing elements of both business and leisure. There is a seductive, state-of-the-art spa and gym; bowling alley; rooftop pool with captivating views of the city; three bars and expert gastronomy. BLESS Hotel Madrid’s restaurant is helmed by world-famous Basque chef, Martín Berasategui, who holds no less than ten Michelin stars (more than any other Spanish chef).
Housed in the former Gran Hotel Velázquez, it boasts 101 stylish rooms, which are kitted out for the modern traveller with super-speedy wifi and ambient lighting. Chic, contemporary interiors are designed by renowned Spanish architect Lázaro Rosa-Violán with an authentically Madrid spirit and flavour, including a sweeping marble staircase, which has been restored to its former glory.
Alongside a curated calendar of live music, art exhibitions and entertainment, the hotel also offers a sensory feast of unique experiences. These include a unique bathing experience in partnership with BATHOLOGY, during which a butler will draw a bespoke bath tailored to your physical and mental wellbeing. Guests can also handpick luxury linen and pillows, for a tailormade good night's sleep.
A second location is poised to open in Ibiza in summer 2019, with further properties planned for stylish districts within cosmopolitan cities and premium holiday beach destinations.
