London Literature Festival at the Southbank Centre, (all weekend)

London’s literatti descends upon the Southbank this weekend, as the Literature Festival returns for ten days of readings, workshops and events. The theme for 2019 is disruption and festival headliners include Elizabeth Day, Armistead Maupin and Brett Anderson. The festival opens with Poetry International, Southbank Centre’s longest running festival, founded by poet Ted Hughes in 1967.
