National Theatre at home
Enjoy front-row seats at London’s most-loved National Theatre productions, streamed to the comfort of your sofa. The new initiative, National Theatre at Home, is bringing live stage shows to YouTube for the next two months. This week, watch Richard Bean’s hilarious One Man, Two Guvnors (2012), starring James Corden. Jane Eyre, Twelfth Night and Treasure Island are set to follow. Productions air on Thursday evenings and are then available to stream on YouTube for seven days.

The Social Distancing Festival
The Social Distancing Festival has been set up by Toronto-based playwright Nick Green for creatives to showcase their works to the public while social distancing guidelines are in place. Green’s aim is to maintain a sense of artistic community and the growing eclectic creative space showcases webcam performances, interactive artwork, poetry readings opera. The site also advises on how you can donate to global arts organisations to help artists during this time.

Sadler’s Wells proudly presents a full programme of feature-length dance performances and workshops, available to stream for free on Facebook. A new version of TOM, a dance for camera installation by Wilkie Branson is due to be screened, as well as Rumpelstiltskin from balletLORENT, with more performance listings found on their website. If you fancy giving your home-exercise routine a shake, the Take Part initiative run by Sadler’s Wells also offers online dance workshops for anyone to take part in.
