London Brunch Fest, Shoreditch (Saturday and Sunday)
London Brunch Fest returns to Brick Lane this weekend, celebrating the capital's best brunch offerings. Alongside the usual bounty of fresh coffee and avocado on toast, there will be a whole room dedicated to sweet delights including doughnuts by Butter Believe It, DAPPA ice cream, cocktail confections by Smith and Sinclair and many other sugar-coated creations. For every ticket purchased and each food and drink item that is sold, a meal will be donated to the Magic Breakfast charity.

Chinese Food Festival, Tower Bridge (all weekend)
The Chinese Food Festival returns to Southwark this weekend for three days of dumplings, doughnuts, spring rolls and sweet and sour delights. Held on the banks of the Thames by Tower Bridge, the lively event celebrates traditional and contemporary Chinese cuisine in London, with live music and entertainment throughout the day. Guests can also hone their cooking skills at a masterclass hosted by School of Wok; learn about traditional Chinese dress and culture with the UK Han Culture Association and try an array of Chinese spirits at the Jiangxiaobai Baijiu Bar.

Portobello Film Festival, Notting Hill (all weekend)
The revered Portobello Film Festival has been running since 1996 and celebrates independent filmmakers across the world. This year's event premieres more than 500 new films, which are free to view, alongside art exhibitions, workshops and talks. The 2019 theme is music, presenting performances from The Members, Stiv Bators and Danny Garcia.

The Glasshouse Champagne Pop-up at The Gherkin (all weekend)
Searcys at The Gherkin has transformed its top floor bar into an exotic, fern-filled haven, in partnership with Perrier-Jouët Champagne. Anno's Journey at Japan House, Kensington (all weekend)
Anno Mitsumasa is one of Japan's most admired illustrators, known for his children's picture books. This weekend, Japan House in Kensington will host his first-ever UK exhibition, showcasing an array of work spanning five decades. Browse the artist's playful papercuts; watercolour paintings and enchanting powder pigment (ganryō) on silk, while a family-friendly zone within the exhibition is open for children to sit and read.

Last Chance: Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams at Victoria & Albert Museum (all weekend)
This weekend is your last chance to visit the acclaimed Dior retrospective at the V&A. Based on the Musée des Arts Décoratifs exhibition that ran from July 2017 until January 2018, Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams charts seven decades of the fashion house, exploring the ephemeral influence of its founder and the six artistic directors who have succeeded him. More than 500 objects are on display, telling the story of the couturier and his evolving fashion house.
