The Royal Collections unveils its newest exhibition this month: Russia Royalty and the Romanovs. The new exhibition – on show at Buckingham Palace – focuses on the relationship between the royal families of Russia and Britain throughout history. Portraits, sculpture, photographs and documents illustrate important historical events and family meetings between the rulers of the two nations. Your ticket to this landmark exhibition will also grant you access to Roger Fenton’s Photographs of the Crimea exhibition.

Taste of London: Festive Edition, Tobacco Dock (all weekend)

Taste of London returns to Tobacco Dock this weekend, this time with a yuletide twist. Sample dishes from some of London’s best restaurants, including Nonna Tonda, Hoppers and Chin Chin Lab, while enjoying festive tipples and live entertainment. There will be live chef demonstrations from the likes of Tom Aikens, as well as artisanal food stalls showcasing festive fare. Further highlights include masterclasses at the new Urban Kitchen, wine and cheese pairings with Accolade Wine School and a plush VIP champagne lounge.

Dynamo: The Abandoned Room, Fitzrovia (all weekend)

Dynamo is the first artist-in-residence to perform at The Mandrake’s new 90-seat ‘underground speakeasy’ theatrically coined The Abandoned Room. Launching this weekend for one week only, it is a rare opportunity to watch the world-famous magician within an intimate environment, followed by the opportunity for a meet-and-greet.

The EFG London Jazz Festival returns this week for ten days of live concerts and events across the capital. The Jazz Festival presents a diverse mixture of jazz masters and emerging talent from around the world.
