Hampton Court Palace Festival is an annual music event that takes place for two weeks in June within the historic grounds of the Palace, against the dramatic backdrop of the Tudor courtyard. Chesterton’s Polo in the Park

Head to Hurlingham Park in Fulham this June for three days of polo tournaments. Teams from six cities around the world will compete over three days and spectators can enjoy a minimum of three games per day. The event – now in its ninth year – includes a grand line-up of restaurants and bars, accompanied by a variety of family-friendly entertainment.

Hidden London

Hidden London continues throughout June, offering a chance to discover London’s lesser-known attractions and historic spaces. Opera Holland Park

Opera Holland Park – an independent charity – presents a festival of staged productions each year to be enjoyed by all. Held in a canopied auditorium behind Holland Park House, Investec Opera Holland Park 2018 features a mix of established artists and rising stars, as well as the Opera Holland Park Chorus and City of London Sinfonia. Serpentine Pavilion

The Serpentine Gallery Pavilion is a unique series that presents the work of an international architect (or design team) who has never before completed a building in England. This year’s pavilion is designed by Mexican architect Frida Escobedo, who has created a steel and concrete woven masterpiece.

Open Garden Squares

Open Garden Squares allows members of the public access to more than 230 private and secret gardens. The popular event is run by the London Parks and Garden trust, and a portion of each ticket sold is returned to the community and volunteer-run gardens.

Trooping the Colour

This historic military parade has been taking place for over two centuries to mark the Queen’s official birthday. Performed by regiments of the British and Commonwealth armies, the ceremony begins at Buckingham Palace and extends along The Mall to Horse Guard’s Parade, Whitehall and back.

Household Division’s Beating Retreat

Set against a backdrop of St James’s Park, Beating Retreat is an annual pageant of music and military precision, which precedes the Trooping the Colour festivities.
