London Fashion Week is about to sweep over the capital, and while the FROW is the sole reserve of industry insiders, editors and designers, it doesn’t mean the rest of the city has to miss out on all the fun. In that spirit, the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park has ensured 180 Strand won’t be the only place serving serious looks this month by created a unique Cocktail Catwalk menu for all to enjoy.
Inviting guests to step into a world of haute couture, the hotel group’s London outpost has joined forces with its sister hotels in the other major fashion capitals – New York, Milan and Paris – to create a cocktail experience worthy of the runway. The menu features four different serves, including The Americana from New York – a twist on the American Gold Rush cocktail – and the glitzy champagne-based Bar 8 Rush, which takes its cues from the opulence of Paris. Our favourite? The London-inspired Fashionista, of course.
This fruity gin concoction will be served at the Hyde Park hotel’s Mandarin Bar, where cocktail enthusiasts can take their very own front row seat at the catwalk-style bar while indulging in the glamour of fashion week. Can’t make it into the city this weekend? We’ve bagged the recipe so you can sip in style while perusing the SS25 runways from home.
