Heston Blumenthal at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park may be closed, but the kitchen is still serving fine cuisine and good cheer throughout the festive season. Corbin & King’s Piccadilly flagship restaurant has launched a collection of at-home menus, with entertaining in mind. The Christmas Day Feast begins with a smoked salmon starter, followed by roast Norfolk bronze turkey or whole roast goose with all of the trimmings. Leave room for Christmas pudding, brandy custard mince pies and a platter of cheese and biscuits to finish.

This Christmas, pre-prepared feasts come courtesy of The Square’s Phil Howard, Marianna Leivaditaki of Morito and Daniel Fletcher of 28 Market Place. These include a roasted wagyu tomahawk steak meal at £315 for four or £455 for six; a meal of red wine braised chestnut and baby borettante onion stew for £200 for four or £290 for six; or a herb-crusted salmon fillet meal which is £260 for four people or £350 for six.

Hide at Home Christmas menu

Ollie Dabbous, chef patron at HIDE in Piccadilly, and Hedonism wines have put together a fabulous, festive menu, as part of its ongoing Hide at Home offering. HIDE highlights include potted shrimp and smoked salmon with warm malted blinis and pickles; stuffed roast turkey, crispy potato cake, red wine gravy, roast winter vegetables, brioche and clove sauce, as well as a HIDE yule log. Wash dishes down with wine from Hedonism, co-operators of the Mayfair restaurant.

Adam Handling, the enterprising, young Scottish chef, has made his mark on London’s dining scene with laidback fine dining lashed with powerful flavours. He’s likely to make a similar mark on your Christmas celebrations with his special festive menu. Enjoy Handling’s signature starters – sourdough with chicken butter as well as cheese doughnuts – before launching into a series of dishes that would make Santa blush. Choose between stuffed turkey crown or a beef Wellington with all the trimmings, Christmas pudding or spiced tarte tatin; then finish the meal off with truffled whole Tunworth cheese, apricot and apple chutney and fruit and nut loaf.

Looking to fend off the winter cold? Put a little Iberian flare into your festivities with Arros QD. For those who want to go their own way, Arros QD is offering two hampers – one priced at £95; the other at £145 – with delicacies such as Quique Dacosta bomba rice, tiger nut milk and Castilla la Mancha muscatel wine. If you’d rather have the restaurant do the heavy lifting, Arros QD is similarly offering pre-prepared sharing meals. The sharing menu for two people for £90 includes olive oil coca bread; kale citrus salad; beef cheeks, rib eye; wood grilled baby gem and chocolate slates. Dinings SW3 at-home menu

This Christmas is as unorthodox as any so if you’d rather opt out of the traditional turkey and into some of London’s best Japanese fare, Dinings SW3 has your name written all over it. Three course festive venison chateaubriand kit

Caledonian meat maestro Mac & Wild will be bringing its customers together this Christmas with a live cook-a-long with company founder Andy Waugh. Participants will be able to choose from a three-course chateaubriand or Christmas burger kit (which looks particularly toothsome to us) and the kits will be dropped on your doorsteps in time for the bubbles being popped.
