Join Neneh Cherry and Krug on the 18 September 2019 for achampagne-fulledday and evening of immersive live music, set on a private woodland estate near Kent

Krug has tapped Neneh Cherry to curate the 2019 edition of Krug Encounters, the champagne house’s annual immersive celebration, which coincides with the release of its latest Grande Cuvée. Coined Rhythm & Ride, guests will travel from Bearsted Railway Station in Kent to The Dreys at Squirrel Wood, set on a private woodland estate, for an afternoon and evening of live music and fine cuisine, with Krug Champagne on tap.

Neneh Cherry has handpicked an all-female line-up of performers, while interactive 3D-mapping technology will ensure an all-encompassing and fully immersive experience. Chef Daniel Alt of The Barbary in Covent Garden will be cooking up a storm on the day, with a menu designed to complement the tasting notes of the new Cuvée 167ème Édition & Krug Rosé 23ème Édition.

Now in its fourth year, Krug Encounters has previously staged a private concert on Orsea Island on the Essex coast, fronted by Mick Jones and hosted a festival in Hampshire. Last year, Krug enlisted Jools Holland to curate a programme of live music, which unfolded aboard a luxury train journey through the English countryside.

Wednesday 18 September 2019, 12-8pm Tickets are priced at £450 per person or two tickets for £800 and includes all food, drink, entertainment and the transfers from Bearsted Station, clos19.com
