London Watch Week, a new horological get-together for the capital, will take place from 17 until 21 June 2025, uniting prestigious watch brands, independent watchmakers, retailers, collectors and enthusiasts. The event, which will include exhibitions, panel discussions, masterclasses and exclusive launches, will take place in venues across London – including Bonhams, New Bond Street, which will be hosting a live-sale auction, Fine Watches, on 19 June.
“Bonhams is delighted to partner with London Watch Week, set to mark London as a key player in the global watch arena,” says Jonathan Darracott, Bonhams Global Head of Watches. “The event offers a unique platform to share experiences and knowledge of the horology world with the wider community.”
London Watch Week is the brainchild of seasoned watch event specialist Lucy Cheesewright, watch and automotive content creator Tom Exton (aka TGE), and watch writer, photographer and presenter, Justin Hast. The five-day event will kick off with a panel talk between Darracott and Hast, who will discuss a curated selection of timepieces from the Fine Watches sale – set to include an extremely rare, 18k gold Rolex Datejust with an auction estimate of £18,000 – £20,000.
Independent Brands

Elsewhere at the event, there will be a heavy presence of distinguished independent brands, among them Andersen Genève, which will be using London Watch Week to launch its new Communication 45 timepiece, and family-owned fine watchmaker Laurent Ferrier. “We are delighted to join the inaugural London Watch Week, an extraordinary opportunity to showcase our timepieces and connect with UK collectors,” says Laurent Ferrier’s Jessica Gasser.
Also participating will be Chinese-inspired haute horologist Atelier Wen, as well as Fam Al Hut, whose timepieces blend Middle Eastern artistic traditions with Swiss watchmaking expertise, and Ludovic Ballouard, known for innovative complications that challenge conventional timekeeping concepts. “Independent watchmaking represents the true spirit of horological innovation,” says Hast. “These artisans and small manufactures push the boundaries of what’s possible in watchmaking, often creating pieces that are as much works of art as they are timekeeping instruments.”
Pre-owned Watches

Demonstrating the growing importance of the pre-owned watch sector, London Watch Week 2025 will also feature some big names from the vintage watch space, namely Subdial, Maunder Watches, Watch Brothers London, and Somlo Watches.
Established in 2018 by Ross Crane and Christy Davis, Subdial’s mission statement was to create a trustworthy, transparent and data-led marketplace for watch collectors. Seven years later, the company is the world leader in watch market data – the Bloomberg-Subdial Watch Index tracking the 50 highest-traded watch models around the world.
Adding additional valuable market insight, Maunder Watches specialises in collectable timepieces with compelling provenance; Watch Brothers London is an expert on rare neo-vintage timepieces; while Somlo Watches is the oldest vintage watch retailer in the capital.
Anyone looking for a unique timepiece with a noteworthy backstory should head to 16 Curzon Street and Drake’s on Savile Row on the Friday and Saturday of London Watch Week, where they’ll be presented with some of the finest previously-owned timepieces currently available to buy.
