After undergoing a transformative renovation and expansion, Italian luxury fashion house FENDI reopened its women’s ready-to-wear boutique in London’s iconic department store Harrods on Tuesday 21 October. Located on the first floor, within the Women’s Superbrands space, the permanent outpost welcomes shoppers to enter the world of FENDI’s elegant heritage, where past informs future, tradition and modernity collide, and skilled craftsmanship and innovation are celebrated in every detail.

Spanning three distinct rooms, the boutique features a curated collection of the brand’s ready-to-wear fashion, bags and accessories for women against a glamorous backdrop inspired by FENDI’s Roman roots. From neoclassical Palladiana flooring in Travertino Ascoli and Giallo Valencia marble to Calce Romana walls and columnar details, and a distinctive ribbed exterior facade, the setting itself is showstopping.

Step inside the main room to be greeted by an impressive centrepiece created by French sculptor and ceramicist Olivia Cognet in her signature bas-relief ceramic, alongside a marble table designed by Milan-based Roberto Sironui. Ivory and natural shades dominate the space while touches of FENDI yellow and pinks add warmth and vibrancy.

Moving into the second room, things become a little more intimate and refined, with luscious carpeted floors, soft neutral-toned walls and ribbed Travertine and Rosso Lepanto marble. Here you will find further displays of the maison’s clothing and accessories from both its seasonal and staple collections.

The final room – a private VIP salon – is accessed via a disguised passageway from the boutique’s exterior, creating an exclusive space for FENDI guests to browse, try and buy in complete privacy. Featuring polished Onice Giallo marble flooring and warm, undulating walls (nodding to the movement of leather, one of FENDI’s foundational materials), the room is lined with some of FENDI most beloved handbags and accessories, inviting visitors to discover the latest styles and collections first.

What to look out for? FENDI launched its new Unfold collection at the beginning of the month, and later in November, will launch its SS26 pre-collection, with both being showcased at the Harrods’ boutique.

Including ready-to-wear, bags and accessories, the Unfold collection offers animalier prints informed by archival inspiration, from a Frosted Fauna design (in black, white, grey, caramel and tobacco) to FENDI’s Leo (a bold leopard print). Whether spending winter in the city, atop a mountain or nestled in the countryside, each piece balances FENDI’s iconic style with the daring nature of the modern contemporary woman. Below, we’ve highlighted some of the best shopping moments from the October drop of FENDI Unfold, all available at Harrods.
