The award-winning online destination for men's style launches an exclusive collaboration for FW19 with TOM FORD, only available at MR PORTER

Tom Ford, the fashion designer and filmmaker extraordinaire, is a man who embodies what he designs. There’s the perfectly trimmed stubble paired with flinty eyes; the single-breasted dark suit and crisp white shirt; the deliberate, somewhat nonchalant words delivered with his Texan drawl; all of which encapsulate the sleek sophistication and perfection of his clothes. For almost three decades, Tom Ford is a designer who has managed to stay relevant in an industry where hype is king.

In 1990, he joined Gucci as their chief womenswear designer – it turned over around £150 million a year. By the time he left in 2004, it was a titan worth more than £2 billion. More likely than not, a red carpet event for a celebrity usually means picking up the phone and speed dialling Mr Ford. His eponymous brand has dressed some of the most stylish men in the world, including Daniel Craig in his Bond outings from Spectre to Quantum of Solace.

It’s no surprise then that those who look for unabashed sexiness and sophistication turn to Tom Ford. Beginning on the 30th September, MR PORTER will debut a 29-piece collection of ready-to-wear pieces and accessories designed with Tom Ford’s elevated and modern approach to menswear. Ranging from suede outerwear to immaculately tailored suits, and spanning 20 ready-to-wear pieces, five bags, three pieces of jewellery and one silk scarf, the collection showcases the luxe and confident style for which Tom Ford is known.
