London Fashion Week returns this weekend. Kickstarting on Friday (19 September) and taking over every nook and cranny of the capital for four days of fabulous fashion, more than 150 designers will descend on the city to debut their SS26 collections. New British Fashion Council chair Laura Weir has revamped the schedule this season, putting greater emphasis on new and up-and-coming designers, and it’s set to be a very good one. Want to know more? We’ve got your full guide to fashion month here.
But, as a strictly industry-only event, what do the fashion editors, stylists, and influencers attending London Fashion Week actually wear? Read on as the Luxury London team opens their wardrobes to let you in on exactly what we’ll be wearing to one of fashion’s biggest extravaganzas of the year.

French Connection Brody midi skirt
My typical approach to dressing for fashion week is ‘me but on a particularly chic day’ so I rarely buy anything overly trend-led that I’m unlikely to wear again in the future. On a recent peruse of French Connection’s AW25 collection, this skirt caught my eye as ticking that exact box: it’s a little more formal than my usual style and can be easily dressed up for fashion week, while also working for a slew of work events coming up this autumn.
Guest in Residence cashmere cardigan
Layers are key to staying serene after eight back-to-back shows. You never know which designer is going to be a little overzealous with the air conditioning, who’s chosen to show in a greenhouse on an unseasonably warm September day or who, horror of horrors, will persevere with an al fresco runway in a downpour. Guest in Residence’s butter yellow cashmere is going to be my constant companion through it all.
Adidas Gazelles
In my day-to-day life, I’m a bit of a gym bunny but a packed fashion week schedule rarely leaves time for Pilates classes or 5k runs. My solution? Walk between as many shows as possible to rack up my step count (this is no mean feat: a couple of seasons ago I walked more than 70k in four days) – which I will not be doing in heels. A bright pair of box fresh Gazelles is the perfect marriage of form and function.
Mulberry Lily tote bag
One thing most people never tell you about fashion week? There’s a lot of waiting around. A late running show can leave you perched on a hard bench for half an hour or more so I always carry a bag big enough for a book, portable phone charger, umbrella, hairbrush and makeup essentials. Mulberry’s minimalist Lily tote is my latest crush.

Hush Pure Wool Double Faced Blazer
There’s a chill in the air and, with LFW requiring us to be out and about, layers are essential. Thankfully, they don’t get chicer than Hush’s new double-faced wool blazer. Cut for an oversized fit, it sits perfectly thanks to fabric thick enough to hold its structure without looking too slouchy. I’ll be pairing mine with a simple white tee on warmer days and a black roll-neck when winter hits – either way, this is a staple for AW25.
Reiss Sakura Patch-Pocket Flared Jeans
LFW requires an outfit that’s effortless but effective – and these Reiss jeans nail the dress code. A vintage-inspired design, I love the flared leg, front pocket detailing, and high waist that cinches in all the right places without being uncomfortable.
Rixo Percy Cotton Blouse
A key piece from Rixo’s new autumn collection is this embroidered blouse. It’s breathable style will keep me cool when running between shows and I can’t get enough of the intricate detailing, feminine collar and lace trims.
Penelope Chilvers Friesian Pony Loafer
One of my favourite shoe designers has reimagined the cult loafer in a very on-trend pony print – and I’m so here for it. Perfect for trotting around the capital in style and comfort, each pair is made in Spain using certified cowhide. On this occasion, I am more than happy for my footwear to do the talking.

AllSaints Essen single-breasted blazer
Call me old-fashioned, but I just don’t think you can go wrong with a slick black blazer. My pick for LFW? AllSaints’ oversized, single-breasted version. A smart, streamlined silhouette that’s crafted from a lightweight organic cotton, I won’t get too toasty at the shows and will be living in this far beyond the weekend.
Agolde + Net Sustain boyfriend jeans
I love white jeans. Not just for spring and summer but for autumn and winter too. They mix up my darker-toned seasonal wardrobe and are so versatile, whether kicking about at the weekend or heading to LFW. I’m loving Agolde’s baggy boyfriend style for a crisp Nineties aesthetic, which will pair wonderfully with a blazer to see me through busy days around the city.
Maje M Tote
Accessories are just as important as my outfit during fashion week and I’m going to let Maje’s M tote bag be the star of the show. Its gorgeous, warm chocolate suede is what really got me, but it’s also super capacious for housing all my necessities while on the move. A relaxed silhouette that is still refined and elegant, it’ll be swung over my shoulder for the coolest and most practical arm candy.
Reformation Carmel drop earrings
These gold drop earrings will polish off my look perfectly, bringing a touch of luxe and instant glam. Part of Reformation’s new vintage- inspired jewellery collection, these Carmel earrings are cast in recycled brass and plated with 24-karat recycled gold. They’re the pop of dainty fun that each and every one of my outfits will love.

AllSaints Reed Cropped Leather Trench
When it comes to fashion week, outerwear is everything – you’re in and out of shows all day, and the jacket ends up making the outfit. This cropped trench from AllSaints is my hero piece. The relaxed leather feels luxe but not too try-hard, and the cinched waist balances out the relaxed cut. It’s one of those jackets that instantly makes me feel pulled together, even when I’ve been running between venues all day.
Kitri Genevieve Silver Knit Top
I love a top that does double duty, and Kitri’s silver knit is giving daytime polish and after-dark shimmer. The cowl neckline and rose corsage detail are a subtle nod to drama without going OTT, and the lightweight knit makes it perfect for layering under leather. Plus, a little sparkle at fashion week never hurts.
Sister Jane Suite Leopard Jacquard Skirt
I’m a maximalist through and through, meaning I simply cannot do fashion week without at least one statement print. This Sister Jane leopard skirt is it for me. The jacquard fabric and ruffled hem make it feel dressy enough for the front row, but it’s still comfortable enough to wear all day.
Alohas Rosalind Brown Leather Ballet Flats
Shoes need to be chic and practical when you’re hopping between shows, and these Alohas ballet flats tick both boxes. I love the deep brown leather against the leopard skirt, and they’re polished enough to feel intentional without leaving me blistered by the end of the day. Consider these my fashion week survival shoes.
