Topshop is back — and it has a new designer collaboration

The high street behemoth returns with an exciting high-low capsule collection

London Fashion Week AW26 kicked off yesterday and, not content with merely celebrating its return to the high street with a star-studded party, Topshop used the occasion to reveal a teaser of the first designer collaboration of its new era — and trust me when I saw you’re going to want to mark your calendars for this one.

Unveiled in the presence of King Charles III no less, pieces from Topshop’s upcoming collaboration with British rising star Tolu Coker were debuted on the catwalk as part of the brand’s London Fashion Week AW26 show. The full 18-piece-strong capsule collection will be available to buy from Topshop later in the spring.

Drawing on Coker’s upbringing in London, as well as her experience of the city as a modern woman, the collection will be heavy on denim — a fabric which has been key for both Coker and Topshop. Inspired by the varied landscapes of London’s architecture, and the way in which its inhabitants move through its streets, stairways and building, silhouettes lean into traditional tailoring and construction techniques while being intentionally transeasonal to encourage as much wear as possible.

Accompanying the announcement is Doors, a teaser campaign comprising a film directed by the designer’s brother, Ade Coker, alongside photography by long-time collaborator Rashidi Noah featuring millinery by Virna Pasquinelli. Concepted as a reflection on the all the doors a woman must walk through during her life — work, home, public, private, arriving and leaving — the campaign explores the practicalities and versatility of the wardrobe she carries with her.

“Topshop was my first job when I was 16, so this collaboration is personal, but it’s also a statement of intent," said Coker. "We designed with restraint, maintained quality, considered quantities, and circular choices, because accessibility shouldn’t mean excess. The collection is built to live beyond a season: transeasonal, versatile, and made with longevity in mind.

"I believe the positive future of our industry lies in collaboration. The reach and resources of brands like Topshop, coupled with the ideas and rigour of young designers, is how we shift our approach to design in a tangible way. It takes bravery to interrogate what ‘accessible’ can mean and to take real steps to evolve it. We don’t have all the answers, but this is a step in the right direction, and a foundation we can build upon.”

“The reaction to the runway reveal shows just how significant Tolu’s creative voice is," added Michelle Wilson, managing director of Topshop. "This collaboration reflects everything Topshop stands for today, championing individuality, creativity and cultural relevance. Working with Tolu has been incredibly inspiring, and the collection represents a shared belief in fashion as a platform for storytelling. We’re proud to support her vision and bring something so considered, expressive and meaningful to our global community.”

Topshop x Tolu Coker launches in spring 2026 on topshop.com.
