An & Other Stories x Roksanda collaboration is coming this spring

Long live the high-street high-end designer collaboration

When the millennial fashion world was set alight earlier this month with the rumour that Topshop may soon be returning to the high street, one couldn’t help but be reminded of its most coveted collections: collaborations with some of the world’s best-loved luxury brands. While not the originator of the high-end high-street collab — this honour, in fact, goes to Debenhams with its somewhat less newsworthy Designers at Debenhams ranges — Topshop arguably did it the best, tapping everyone from Versace and Kate Moss to Meadham Kirchoff and Christopher Kane over the years. And it’s a blueprint that still holds weight today. Case in point: today’s announcement of an & Other Stories x Roksanda collaboration.

Set to launch on 15 May 2025, the collection will see London-based designer Roksanda Ilinčić once again bring her signature sculptural silhouettes and bold colour blocking to the high street. Hot on the heels of successful collaborations with a diverse array of brands, including FitFlop, Barbour, Jigsaw and George at Asda, Roksanda’s collaboration with & Other Stories promises to focus squarely on the designer’s ethos of empowering women through clothing, as well as drawing on her love of art and architecture.

Launching in time for summer, and said to be inspired by the designer’s love of sunsets, expect fiery hues and deep blues, indigos and pinks to feature throughout. While we have yet to see any designs, the collaboration was teased with an image of a model wearing an oversized sun hat and unstructured tailoring, suggesting this will be a sophisticated collection catering to those who covet Roksanda’s intellectually-informed designs but don’t necessarily have the budget to buy main line.

And, while prices have yet to be announced, if & Other Stories’ previous limited-edition collections with the likes of Susan Fang, Rejina Pyo and Rodarte are anything to go by, shoppers can expect to pay around £200-300 for a dress and £100-200 for separates.

“Wearing a garment can transform the spirit, mood, and sense of self. To create this emotional connection, I constantly reflect on what women wish to highlight, conceal, and celebrate to craft pieces that evoke emotions and uplift,” says Roksanda Ilinčić.

“We are excited to collaborate with Roksanda, a true visionary in fashion. Her ability to blend art, architecture, and femininity results in a collection that is both empowering and timeless. We cannot wait to unveil this collection, which we believe will deeply resonate with our customers and become a cherished part of their wardrobes,” added Malin Sone, head of design at & Other Stories.

So, while the era of queues forming at 5am for the latest high-end high-street collaboration may be in the past, don’t hang around if you’re hoping to get your hands on a piece from the & Other Stories x Roksanda collab. We predict a sell-out.
