March marks the start of spring – and if the clocks going forward last weekend didn’t put a pep in your step, we don’t know what will. Not only has the sun brightened our days and moods, it has also heralded the arrival of an array of new wardrobe essentials, skincare and menus sampled first-hand by the Luxury London team. From where we’ve been eating this month to the finest new fashion filling our shopping baskets, here’s everything we’ve loved in March so you can step into the new season in editor-approved style.

The spring essentials: Bond-eye swimwear and TBCo pyjamas
March’s warm, sunny days had me dreaming of summer – and, to that end, I’ve heralded the arrival of the new season with some retail therapy. Two pieces I won’t stop raving about are Bond-eye’s signature crinkle swimsuit: ultra-soft, sculpting, and engineered to stretch, shape and flatter. Hailing from Australia, Bond-eye definitely knows how to craft the perfect swimsuit.
TBCo pyjamas have long been among my favourite sleepwear – and its latest sleep collection, rendered in spring hues of baby blues, vibrant magenta and bright reds, really caught my eye. The cropped cotton pyjamas also feature a flattering collar and cuffed ankles. They’re almost too good just to wear to bed…
The Michelin starred experience: Restaurant St Barts

I’ve been lucky enough to sample a fair few Michelin-starred menus in my time – but few have impressed me quite as much as Restaurant St Barts. Tucked away in a corner of Barbican – and overlooking London’s oldest parish church, St Bartholomew the Great, from which the restaurant takes its name – this establishment is London’s only restaurant to hold both a Michelin and Green star. Forward-thinking in both its menus and decor, it eschews the white tablecloths and stuffy service synonymous with stars for a personable, charming team, elegant interiors, vintage furniture and, of course, seriously delectable food.
British provenance is the order of the day here, so expect snacks – which start in the lounge, before the main event continues in the dining room – of prawn nduja toast and duck parfait on a homemade hobnob biscuit before highlights of barbecued scallop and mangalitza pork ‘kebab’ and the chocolate-but-no-chocolate black koji and barley tart. With a set lunch menu starting from £75, this is a great place to keep in your back pocket when you need to impress.
The tote: Kurt Geiger Chelsea Hobo

Kurt Geiger’s signature tote has returned for spring in an array of fresh colourways. From vivid orange and pink suede, to a stand-out patchwork design and the classic tan which made the bag famous, this refined silhouette offers endless versatility. It’s the ultimate transitional piece, too; from work meetings to weekend cocktails, this polished, go-anywhere design will never go out of style.

The haircare: GF Fabulosity The Fab Brush

Gustav Fouche, one of London’s leading hairstylists, has been channelling his knowledge and passion for all things hair and scalp into the cult GF Fabulosity range of shampoo and conditioners for years – and now he’s expanded the range with the new Fab Brush.
I’ve been putting one to the tes this month and, let me say, I didn’t realise quite what a difference a hairbrush could actually have on my very thick locks. Made with soft nylon bristles to reduce breakage and protect hair, the design effortlessly glides through even my most knotted kinks and leaves every strand shiny and ready for styling. If you haven’t heard of Gustav, go look him up, book a hair consultation, buy a brush and never look back. If you have heard of Mr Fouche, need I say more?
The sushi: Sexy Fish

I’m a big fan of sushi and, hapilly, London is home to excellent restaurants offering great nigiri, maki and sashimi. So would the capital's glitziest of sushi spots – Sexy Fish – live up to the hype? A recent lunch at the Mayfair spot offered up a mouth-wateringly good menu of contemporary Japanese fare, including yellowtail sashimi with green Mandarin ponzu, salmon ceviche and caramelised black cod. Polished off with fluffy chocolate doughnuts for good measure, of course. A delicious escape from Oxford Street’s shopping mania. Go hungry.
The accessories: Lulu Guinness and Laura Vann
As Coco Chanel once said: “Accessories are what makes or marks a woman.” Since its launch, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about Lulu Guinness’ new Cole crossbody bag. Playful but practical and endlessly versatile, it’s top of my shopping list for spring. As is Laura Vann’s pretty Felicity pendant, crafted from 18ct gold vermeil and oval-cut white topaz on a vibrant coral red cord. Delicate yet modern.

The gym kit: Dabbs Fitness straight leggings

Something of a hidden gem on London’s, admittedly, rather saturated fitness scene, Dabbs Fitness is an independent gym in Mayfair that specialises in small group strength and conditioning. I’ve been training there weekly for nearly two years now and, while I’m loathe to let you in on my secret, it really has transformed my approach to working out.
Location not convenient for you? The good news is, you can get your piece of the action with its new in-house range of workout gear for men and women. Representing more than a year of R&D and input from specialists across the health and fashion industries, I got my hands on a pair of the leggings (straight legged, high-waisted, stretchy but not see-through) and they’ve instantly become my new go-tos.
The facial: Cellcosmet Expert Cellular Renewal

In need of some R&R? Tucked away beneath The Connaught hotel, the Aman Spa is a serene, cocooning space a world away from the hustle and bustle of Mayfair above. While there's plenty of pampering to be indulged in here, if it's real results you're after, I recommend Cellcosmet's signature Expert Cellular Renewal facial. Combining the Swiss skincare brand's CellCollagen Mask Professionnal, alongside hero products including the Gentle Purifying Cleanser, Dual Action Exfoliant, and CellLift Cream, with a unique firming and draining massage to plump the skin, reduce puffiness, relieve dark circles and leave the complexion clear and radiant, you'll leave positively glowing.
The resortwear: Alexandra Miro

I’m off on my first warm weather holiday of the year next month and, while it may only be a long weekend in the sun, as far as I’m concerned, it’s still the perfect excuse to treat myself to something fun and colourful for the beach. Enter Alexandra Miro. The London-based designer has just released her new SS26 collection and it’s full of abstract prints, flattering swimwear and glamorous dresses designed to take you from beach club to dinner to bar. In fact, pop a slip under this Ava gown and I reckon you could even wear it to a summer wedding.
