This year, it seems Centre Court has turned into a runway. While the Wimbledon Tennis Championship remains one of the sport’s most iconic Grand Slams, 2025 has shown that it’s not only about game, set, match. From pleated skirts and embroidered tops to leather jackets and retro cardigans, players from around the world have dialled up their style game to make bold fashion statements while serving on court.
Long considered one of the most stylish tournaments thanks to its famously strict all-white dress code, this year more than ever tennis stars (or, more specifically, their stylists) are playing with looks that reflect personal tastes. From adding texture, playful trims, intricate detailing and vintage touches, classic cuts are being elevated with modern twists.
Previously the preserve of a perennially star-studded crowd (Olivia Rodrigo, David Beckham, Cate Blanchett and Eddie Redmayne have all been spotted looking chic courtside this year), the rise of ‘tenniscore’ fashion has allowed players to get in on the action – and, presumably, the brand sponsorship deals – too.
So, who’s been turning heads at the service line? We’ve picked some of the standout on-court looks from the best-dressed at Wimbledon 2025.
Coco Gauff
The 21-year-old American player may have been knocked out on just day two of the Championships – but she was certainly victorious with her outfit choices. Perhaps being the best-dressed player on-court this year (in my opinion), Gauff sported a New Balance ensemble featuring a tank top intricately embroidered with 3D butterflies and worn with a kilt-style pleated skirt inspired by British punk. She finished the look with ruffled socks, custom Coco CG2 Wimbledon Edition trainers with a hint of mint green and sparkly silver Missoma hoop earrings (which, in a classic Chris Evert move, she lost on court and halted her match to search for). Feminine and chic while being dress code compliant, her 2025 look will go down in history.

Lorenzo Musetti
Lorenzo Musetti also exited this year’s Championships in the first round. While the Italian player may not have repeated last year’s semi-finalist status, he certainly made an impression with his on-court look. Walking onto the runway, sorry, Centre Court, in an £8,000 white Bottega Veneta bomber jacket crafted from the brand’s signature interacciato leather weave in a crisp, Wimbledon white, he exuded contemporary, quiet luxury. As the most recent brand ambassador for the luxury fashion house, he’s proving that his game goes far beyond just racquet sports.

Carlos Alcaraz
We expect we’ll be seeing Alcaraz back in the final this year, and while all eyes will be on his forehand drop shot, we’re just as intrigued by what the Spanish Grand Slam superstar will be wearing. He’s already shown his stylish side in a Nike collegiate-inspired cable-knit cardigan, a retro preppy piece that's been compared to Roger Federer’s iconic 2008 Wimbledon cardigan. What could he model next?

Taylor Fritz
American player Taylor Fritz has made it through to the quarter final of Wimbledon but, more importantly, he’s also qualified for our edit of the best looks served up at SW19 this year. Donning a Hugo Boss zip-neck top and slim fit shorts from the brand’s Boss Zone collection, his aesthetic is slick, modern and a tournament favourite.

Marta Kostyuk
She may not have made it through the first week, but Ukrainian player Marta Kostyuk triumphs again in her outfit choice. Having made headlines for a look inspired by her wedding dress last year, for 2025 she chose a Wilson apron dress featuring a cut-out back, criss-cross straps and a pleated-edged skirt, all paired with an elegant tan leather tennis bag far more stylish than the usual nylon options. A playful mix of feminine and sporty, she mastered modern woman on court.

Naomi Osaka
Naomi Osaka may have only made it to round three this year, but with her elegant on-court ensemble, she’s a winner in our eyes. Her Nike dress featured a woven herringbone-style midriff and soft pleated skirt for a timeless style that will undoubtedly inspire plenty of imitators.

Jessica Pegula
Another American who nailed her on-court look at the All England Club, even if we did only get to see it the once (she lost to Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the first round), was Jessica Pegula. The player wore Adidas from head-to-toe for her walking-onto-court look, which included a matching green-and-white visor and trainers. The standout pieces, however, were her floor-grazing skirt and London Originals bowling bag. A coordinated, pulled-together, catwalk-ready look, we’d say.
