Grab your sunglasses and your most glamorous evening gown: the Cannes Film Festival 2026 is upon us. Officially a prestigious showcase of some of the year’s most exciting new feature films, which culminates in the awarding of the coveted Palme d’Or (scooped in recent years by Oscar winners Anora and Parasite), unofficially it’s also a chance for the world’s of fashion and high jewellery to show some off their most show-stopping wares on a sun-dappled red carpet in a locale synonymous with style and glitz.
As is tradition, jewellery house Chopard is one of the event’s main sponsors, so expect to see plenty of jaw-dropping diamonds, while Dior has also announced a stong presence at this year’s event. As for who will be on the red carpet, the 2026 jury includes Chloe Zhao, Ruth Negga and Stellan Skarsgard, among other Hollywood luminaries, while Barry Keoghan, Cara Delevingne, Sebastian Stan, Léa Seydoux, Alicia Vikander, Rami Malek, Scarlett Johansson, Miles Teller, and Gillian Anderson are just a few of the A-listers with films in the running for the main prize.
Of course, you don’t have to be remotely connected to the film industry to find yourself on the Cannes Croissette. Also a magnet for supermodels and influencers, don’t be surprised to see the likes of Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk and even Naomi Campbell taking their turn in front of the cameras.
