Trillium: The new residential development set to transform the Westminster skyline

07 Mar 2025 | |By Kari Colmans

Set just a short walk from the prestigious areas of Marylebone, Mayfair and Paddington, and just one minute’s walk from Edgware Road station, London-based property developer Berkeley has announced that apartments at The Burton, the first of three towers to launch at Trillium – a new luxury residential development in the City of Westminster – are now for sale. Adding to the vibrancy of the relatively new Paddington Green neighbourhood, Trillium promises to bring with it a slew of luxurious homes, shops and restaurants, as well as dedicated green spaces.

Made up of three imposing towers, and standing 39 storeys high at its tallest point, the development’s magnificent exterior, inspired by London’s traditional red-brick mansions, has been conceived by celebrated architect Squire & Partners. The luxury development will comprise a collection of Manhattan, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as penthouses, and will be served by a range of top-of-the-range amenities and communal spaces.

With more than an acre of green and landscaped space, as well as pedestrian pathways winding through the development, connecting Trillium with Paddington Green and the newly pedestrianised Newcastle Place nearby, the development is perfectly placed within the hustle and bustle of the local shops, restaurants and cafés, as well as those that will occupy the ground level at Trillium.

Renowned interior designer BradyWilliams, which specialises in luxury hospitality and international residential property, will create a calming and neutral palette, set off by plush, textural accents in natural, earthy tones. According to the developer, the overall feeling will be one of peace, wellbeing and tranquillity, evoking a welcoming atmosphere that transcends throughout the development.

Each of the apartments benefits from a spacious and modern open-plan layout, perfect for contemporary, fluid living. Standout features include large windows, which illuminate the apartments with natural light, as well as herringbone parquet floors, impeccably crafted cabinetry in European oak and bespoke joinery.

The elegant kitchens include a range of metal, timber-effect and lacquered finishes as well as a suite of Miele appliances. Buyers are also able to add their own touches, such as the option of a water vapour fireplace. Each one of the standout apartments also features a private balcony, which is a welcome breath of fresh air.

Top of the range services and amenities will include an impressive spa containing a 20m swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, foot spa, and ice plunge pool, while the wellness suite offers three saunas, including an infrared sauna, as well as a fitness studio and treatment rooms. Top of the range gym facilities are situated at West End Gate, the adjacent Berkeley development, while other benefits include beautiful private dining and luxurious entertainment spaces, as well as modern private and shared co-working areas, plus a 24-hour concierge.

Paul Vallone, chairman of Berkeley (Central London), comments: “Residents at Trillium will enjoy close proximity to some of the capital’s most prestigious neighbourhoods, from the tranquil canals and mansion blocks of Little Venice to the leafy boulevards of Maida Vale and elegant Marylebone, while the ongoing regeneration of Paddington and Church Street indicates huge opportunity for growth. Even in this fantastic city-centre location, however, Trillium offers a tranquil escape. Berkeley’s commitment to wellbeing is illustrated in every element of the development’s design, from the variety of green, natural spaces to the exceptional spa facilities and homes designed for luxury and relaxation.”

In the five years since Berkeley’s West End Gate launched, rental values in the immediate area have soared by almost 12 per cent per year, indicating an exciting opportunity for buyers at Trillium looking for value alongside substantial growth potential in a prime Zone 1 location.
