Topshop to host one-day London pop-up with Defected Records
Head to Shoreditch for your first taste of the high street heavyweight's new era
Unless you’ve been living under a social media rock you’ll know that Topshop will soon be making an IRL comeback, with its first collection, Talamanca, due to drop in August 2025 – but you don’t need to wait until then to get in on the action. For one day only on 10 May 2025, Topshop and Topman will be hosting its first bricks-and-mortar retail experience in four years, taking over a basement in Shoreditch in collaboration with Defected Records.
The second batch of tickets will be released at 9am on 2 May (don’t hang around, the first batch sold out within minutes) with the Topshop pop-up set to give visitors an early taste of the laidback Ibizan vibes of the Talamanca collection – and, of course, get their hands on the must-have pieces before anyone else. There will also be styles from Topshop’s much-missed denim collection (RIP, Baxter) and essentials on offer.
Of course, being hosted in Defected Records' basement, a great soundtrack is a given, while guests will also be treated to Moth cocktails, limited edition merchandise available only at the pop-up, makeovers from an on-site makeup team and artworks by Russ Jones.
“The Talamanca collection is our love letter to the music, style and culture of Ibiza," said Moses Rashid, global marketing director at Topshop and Topman. "We wanted to capture that spirit in a uniquely Topshop way; a basement takeover that’s both a nod to the past and celebration of now. We’ve seen the comments, so this takeover with Defected Records felt like the perfect partnership.”
