A new season of sport and world-class hospitality returns to the Home of Cricket

Lord's

As summer approaches, a new season of cricket kicks off at Lord’s. Known as the Home of Cricket, and considered the most iconic ground in the world, the legendary venue cordially invites you to a thrilling summer of sport, featuring a lineup of international matches and championships from the best in the business.

But, aside from Lord’s unmatched sporting talent, it’s the first-class hospitality that sets this North London ground even further apart from the rest. We say go for the match, but stay for the exceptional social setup and wining and dining experiences – and, luckily, a premium hospitality ticket at Lord’s will tick all of the boxes.

With a range of hospitality options on offer, Lord’s provides an unrivalled match experience. Whether that’s checking into one of the premium private suites to watch the day’s game unfold, or taking a break to dine at The Marylebone Suite near your exclusive seats in the Edrich Stand, Lord’s knows how to create a day to remember.

Chefs Karl Pearce and Dean Jaouadi: Lord's

Onto the food, then – because as much gusto goes into its preparation, presentation and delivery as the players put into the cricket itself. Led by executive chef Karl Pearce and head chef Dean Jaouadi (who have both worked at Lord’s for more than 15 years), an exceptionally skilled on-site food and beverage team, with another eight full-time chefs, takes charge of all the menus throughout the venue. Describing it as “more than a job, it’s a lifestyle”, Pearce, alongside Jaouadi and the team, plays with decadent flavours and the freshest ingredients to create delicious standout dishes for guests to enjoy.

Every season, a huge emphasis is placed on sustainability and seasonality. Jaouadi confirms that almost everything is made from scratch in-house, describing this season’s menu as “light, fresh, zingy food that is going to excite your palette”. Plus, all ingredients are locally sourced and inspired by British cuisine, with a friendly nod to the touring team (India tours this summer, so fragrant herbs and punchy spices are key components on the menu). Tempted? Us too.

Always one step ahead, the team has devised an array of menus to satiate every appetite. While you can’t always guarantee the score at Lord’s, you can certainly count on there being a menu for everyone, from lavish breakfast and lunch fare, to the classic Lord’s afternoon teas. If a jam-packed day full of sport and sublime dining sounds too good to be true, check it out for yourself with a ticket to this season’s very best of cricket.
