Imagine a place, nestled among the busy streets of central London, where you can think and train, lunch and learn, create and collaborate, network and even nab a few minutes of peace, all under the same roof. Now stop imagining and let us introduce you to Maslow’s – the high-end hospitality group that looks after a collection of luxury members’ houses across the capital to bring you the perfect balance of work, rest and play.
Blending together a boutique hotel-style environment with homely workspaces, members’ lounges, gyms, drinking dens and dining spots to delve into any time, any day, Maslow’s is a cut above the rest. Holding masterclasses and rich community programmes focused on self-expression and improvement in beautifully designed surroundings, it is more sophisticated and more professional, ultimately tailored to members’ holistic wellbeing.
A foot through the door and you’re in for a treat. Entering a Maslow’s members’ house is an experience. Think a wonderful spread of spaces welcoming entrepreneurs, creatives and knowledge workers from all walks of work to gather, create and socialise, with all the frills and flat whites you could ask for. Settle in and you can enjoy focus-friendly spots, nourishing top-quality food from their restaurant’s menus and well deserved zen time in their gyms or by the bar, whatever suits you. Maslow’s brings it all together as one sophisticated holistic experience, making the most of your time and budget.
Taking its cues from Abraham Maslow’s theory of human motivation and happiness – a five-tier hierarchy of needs for achieving self-actualisation – Maslow’s strives to provide inspiring environments for members and guests to excel in. With teamwork, comfort, and mental and physical health at their core, Maslow’s houses are where members thrive, providing havens for professional and personal growth.
Maslow’s has two members’ houses: Mortimer House in Fitzrovia and 1 Warwick in Soho. Both offer stylishly designed private and communal workspaces, a large state-of-the-art gym and yoga studio, and cosy members’ living rooms. But to enjoy a true taste of Maslow’s is to dine at its plethora of restaurants, helmed by executive chef Tom Cenci. Driven by seasonal ingredients, Cenci’s signature menus span three restaurants across the two houses – the Italian-inspired Mortimer House Kitchen, the Middle Eastern rooftop terrace Yasmin, and Nessa, serving modern British fare with seasonal twists – and are seriously the best places to host and entertain your clients during the week, as well as long leisurely lunches with friends at the weekend. While all three are open to the public, Maslow’s members can enjoy priority access – whenever, wherever.
Sound up your street? Maslow’s membership starts from £300 per month with access to both houses. Membership types vary so they can be tailored specifically to your individual working style and needs – house membership starts from five days per month and goes all the way to unlimited, then there are extra tiers including dedicated private studio space and resident desks. For those who like to try before they buy, Maslow’s is opening up its doors this November, inviting non-members in to have a nose around its houses and enjoy a taste of Maslow’s life.
Click here to book your spot at one of Maslow’s open days, priced at £25 per person including full-day use of one of the houses, as well as special activities, tours and social opportunities. Pick Mortimer House for a morning sound bath session followed by breakfast at Mortimer House Kitchen, or 1 Warwick for a career development workshop, hosted by The School of Life, and cocktails and canapés at Nessa.
