Audrey Hepburn: Beyond the Screen Exhibition

A new exhibition opens this weekend at Proud Galleries in Charring Cross celebrating the extraordinary life and enduring legacy of Audrey Hepburn. Beyond the Screen showcases rare and intimate portraits of the Hollywood starlet, captured by esteemed photographers including Terry O’Neill, Norman Parkinson, Bob Willoughby, Eva Sereny, Mark Shaw and Douglas Kirkland. The exhibition marks 25 years since Hepburn’s death and will run until the end of September.

Mindful Chef X Ham Yard Hotel

Healthy recipe-box delivery service, Mindful Chef, is once again partnering with the Ham Yard Hotel on a special summer menu, as part of its Live Well series. Using seasonal and sustainably-sourced ingredients, dishes are dairy-free, gluten-free and contain no refined carbs. Start with dukkah spiced falafels, followed by pan-fried hake, and a sweet lemon and raspberry ripple raw ‘cheesecake’ to finish. The menu is served in the stylish Ham Yard Restaurant and lively al fresco courtyard.

Weekend Lunches at Sardine

Sardine is a Southern-French restaurant that borders Islington and Hackney, helmed by chef Alex Jackson. Every weekend in August, guests can enjoy a four-course alfresco summer feast in the within the verdant gardens of the neighbouring Victoria Miro Gallery. Enjoy a long rosé-fuelled lunch of tomato and tapenade tart; whole salt-baked sea trout and nougat ice-cream for dessert, accompanied by music and drinks.
