Step forward Maison de Fleurs, the Battersea florist brightening up London with its large-scale floral displays and installations. Following on from a Valentine’s Day floral heart in Covent Garden, Maison de Fleurs will be working for the second year running with the Cadogan Estate on Chelsea in Bloom in May, under this year’s theme of Under the Sea. Maison de Fleurs boasts a global client base of designer and corporate clients across fashion, retail and hospitality. The floristry studio creates fresh seasonal bouquets, as well as vivacious faux wreaths, which mix all of our favourite spring blooms.

“A floating ceiling, created for a private party using luscious peonies, hydrangea and sweetpeas.”

“We created this festive design last summer for a client’s birthday. Set in a gorgeous Tuscan villa, we draped the exterior in summer flowers, garlands and trellises of wisteria.”

This was for a private event at Spring in Somerset house. The display featured bespoke Perspex stands and troffs, while the table was adorned with vibrant summer flowers and seasonal foliage.

This installation was created for Lydia Millen’s wedding in December at Aynhoe Park. She wanted a showstopper in muted tones and we created an enormous cascade of flowers that draped from the ceiling to the floor of the altar.”

“This all-white extravaganza was created for a wedding in the Middle East, using seasonal white orchids, hydrangea and roses.”

“We worked closely with Brides magazine to create a wedding-inspired table setting at The Savoy. This was complemented by a huge fresh flower wall and individual posies for each guest in a pink and white colour palette.”

Floral heart installation for Chelsea in Bloom 2018

“Positioned in front of Duke of York Square, this colourful heart was created for Chelsea in Bloom 2018, under the Summer of Love theme, which was inspired by the Royal Wedding. Sunflowers, roses, carnations, dahlias, gerberas, ranunculus, peonies and sweet peas were just a few of the flowers that we used to create the installation, which featured a letterbox. The public was encouraged to post congratulatory messages to Meghan and Harry for their wedding day and help spread a little more love around London. These letters were then forwarded onto Kensington Palace.
