More than 10 Michelin stars make up 2020's Royal Ascot Fine Dining experience, which makes this quintessential summer event the most well-catered for

What they ate: King Crab, Fennel Salad, Coconut and Lime by Raymond Blanc; Chilled Pea & Marigold Soup with Spring Vegetables and Graceburn Cheese by Ollie Dabbous; Cornish Turbot, Mussels, Broccoli, Lovage and Caviar by Simon Rogan; Short Rib of Red Ruby Beef with Hen of the Woods, Rosemary and Truffle by Brett Graham; Vanilla Pot with Prune and Armagnac Caramel by Skye Gyngell; Crème Catalane Éclair, Lemon and Pine Needle Pound Cake and Blueberry and Amaretti Verrine by Eric Lanlard.

We look forward to Royal Ascot every year, as renowned for its crowd, fashions and prestigious flat racing as for its pageantry and regal history; it was founded by Queen Anne back in 1711. This year, more than 10 Michelin stars make up 2020 Royal Ascot Fine Dining. Arriving at the Icetank venue in Holborn, Raymond Blanc OBE, Skye Gyngell, Simon Rogan, Ollie Dabbous, Brett Graham and Eric Lanlard each took to the stage taking their turn to cook up a storm, flexing their culinary muscles. Scrambling for forks were guests including Antonina Parker, Alexandra Dudley, Rosie Tapner, Leander Cadbury, Pamela Golebiowska and Ellen Gibbons with Matthew Fort compering.

Speaking about Fine Dining at Royal Ascot in 2020, Jonathan Parker, Director of Food & Beverage at Ascot Racecourse, said: “Our portfolio of Royal Ascot Fine Dining has gone from strength to strength in recent years and 2020 is no exception as we welcome more Michelin stars than ever before. In fact, I believe Royal Ascot to be the single biggest collection of stars – both on and off the track – of any British sporting event.”
