RSVP: Join Luxury London and Montage International to discover the Art of Luxury
Register your interest to attend this exclusive panel event featuring speakers from Sotheby's Global Fine Art, Fraser Yachts and Montage International
Luxury London Media and Montage International invite you to an evening of cocktails and conversation to discover the complex and ever-changing landscape of art collecting. Join us in Mayfair on Wednesday 22nd May to hear about the most significant trends in art collecting, the conversations currently driving the art world, and how the search for the right homes in which to house that art is becoming increasingly competitive.
Guest speakers at the event, which will take place in a private residence in South Audley Street currently on the market for £28 million, will include Sebastian Fahey, Sotheby’s Managing Director of Global Fine Art, Anders Kurtén, Chief Executive Officer of Fraser Yachts, and Tina Necrason, Executive Vice President of Residential for Montage International. Also in attendance will be Claire Reynolds, Managing Director of Sotheby’s International Realty, who will provide an introduction to the venue for the evening – a beautiful, newly-developed four-bedroom, four-bathroom apartment occupying the corner of Hill Street and South Audley Street.
Founded in 2002 by American hospitality industry veteran Alan Fuerstman, Montage Hotels & Resorts has become a leading name in the ultra-luxury international property management industry, with residences stretching from Mexico to Montana, and from California to the Bahamas. Tina Necrason joined Montage in 2014, having been a Senior Director at Hilton Grand Vacations. During the Art of Luxury event, Tina will discuss how art can be used to make a house feel like a home, as well as new investment opportunities available in the Caribbean.
Sebastian Fahey has worked for Sotheby’s for the previous 20 years, and in 2021 was charged with the role of Executive Lead for the newly-established Sotheby’s NFT department. Passionate about technology, and its impact on the art world, Sebastian will be talking about how developments like artificial intelligence will affect the art scene in the years ahead.

A seasoned and spirited keynote speaker, Anders Kurtén has garnered a reputation as an ‘out of the box’ thinker with 25 years of experience in management, marketing and product development. Kurtén will discuss the evolving world of UHNWIs, the logistics of commissioning art for superyachts, and the direction of the superyacht industry in general.
Other topics the panel will discuss on the evening will include the artists that are currently most in vogue with UHNWIs, the meaning of the word ‘luxury’ in the modern world, and the money-no-object artworks they would commission for their own homes.
