The Cartier Racing Awards celebrates stars of the equine world

Patrick Grant, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Lady Tatiana Mountbatten were among those who gathered at The Dorchester hotel last night for The Cartier Racing Awards to fête the year’s finest fillies. Now in its 28th year, the ceremony celebrates the best of European horseracing and is considered the Oscars of the racing world.

Hosted by Laurent Feniou and Harry Herbert, a champagne reception was followed by a three-course dinner and an awards ceremony. Trainer John Gosden was the talk of the evening, with his horses picking up five awards including the prestigious Cartier Horse of the Year. See the full list of winners below:
